I'm sad to see the book end, its been my favorite Transformers comic of all time (and one of my fav comics of any comic!)
I read issues 21-24 all together the other night in one big chunk (I'd been behind) and reading those four together felt like watching an epic movie.
Thanks to Alex, James, Brendan, Jack, EVERYBODY who made this book.
Its been a blast!!!

Surprisingly I don't think I've mentioned it but have been wishing so hard for one last Milne cover. Was convinced Unicron would stop that from happening, might have to pick up this and the Roche one.

They've used the art for another printing of More than Meets the Eye 1, but it was a reprint off memory, never a single issue.

 

Love it. So bittersweet. I wish they had been able to use this as the cover for the final collected volume.

 

Even Getaway, Hoist and Perceptor are there. Truly a wonderful last cover.

 

You are right, I was, because they look so similar.

 

They should do one for the villains.

 

Love the inclusion of More Then Meets the Eye at the bottom.

Usually not jaded by this but really? Huffer, Siren, Grapple, Gears and Brawn are there but the Scavengers arnt?

They kinda earned a spot on here instead of the background dudes of MTMTE.

Yeah, really. There are a lot of characters I would have liked to add in, but they would be tiny like Huffer, and Gears and the rest. So I didn't because I feel they deserve a cover of their own. So, sorry you feel ripped in the character department, but nothing I can do about it.

 

........................Okay, and where's Tarn?

 

No it’s not that I just surprised. None of them had roles in the series. Siren had 2 lines in 85 issues. With characters like Megatron, Max, cerebros, Lug and Anode it feels a little sad not the scavengers there. They were the other point of view of after the war in this book.

 

That is a perfect final cover. Hopefully IDW will be smart enough to use it as the Final TPB cover to mirror the first volume too.
Imagine if Alex could, he'd draw every single bot who was onboard and character who's been important along the way.
I know Magnus is smiling, but it would have been clever to see Minimus jumping from the armor in the same pose!

I'm glad you put in Siren, he was one of my favorite Toys as a lad.  
Makes sense to me to stick to the main crew.
