I did this custom a while back but didn't think it was good enough to put it on here but now I'm customising him into something else I felt it was important to show you the evolution of how he came to this point as it had benifeted the new model in many ways because of the changes I made here. So I started with the generations Ironhide I never got along with him like a lot of others I did some of the regular mods to try to improve him but still wasn't happy so set out to make him more like the Ironhide from idw where he is brought back to life on cybertron and is expected to fight off a horde of insecticons.
So I went to removing all the kibble off his back for the clean look, got rid of the plate behind his head, fixed the head level so he wasn't always looking into his chest. Removed excess kibble on the forearms, adjusted his height so he was level with my generations sunstreaker who I had plans to make a wheel chair for but never got round to it. These first 3 pics I had just done some basic bits before I really started going to work on him. Then I had to fill the gap created on his back so used some spare parts I had including some of Ironhides off cuts like repositioning the wheels to match the comic.
