Waspinator is nab-on-sight. No other toy in the entire lineup they've revealed so far is as important to me as him, and making sure BW figs get bought up is always good. Skids is... I dunno, he looks okay but I've lost some interest in carformers. Dreadwing looks kinda cool, but I have the mold already and on Megatron it's good, dunno if I'd be interested in having another. No interest in Goldfire.

 

Waspinator look very nice even without photoshop magic.

 

Can't wait to get Skids.

lol, What I'd meant is that he's done in the Roche style. I'd expected the toy to be more like Trailbreaker, in that he is, like, halfway between IDW and "G1" Trailbreaker, in that he's done in an aesthetic that still matches the rest of the classicy toys, but has that idw flare, whereas Skids is more stylized.

That that that's bad. it's interesting.

Oh god, is he really? I need to find a good pic of him weaponed out, will be looking through the comics tomorrow lol

 

I'd never heard about these until Ifound some at Walmart a few days ago. I bought a Thundercracker and Hoist. I want the Trailblazer too but I didn't have the money. Can't say if any others really interest me.

 

Goldfire is a mess, waspenator needs color, the other 2 are more or less okay.

Waspinator is all I want since I love them Beast formers.

 

first thoughts:

Goldfire: a straight repaint already?!
Dreadwing: the repaints don't end and the G2 blue is an eye sore
Waspinator: finally a new figure and it's beast wars!!! but we have visible hand syndrome and visible head syndrome. My Transmetals Waspinator is still the best Waspinator.
Skids: Bullet Porn at its best. Whats really cool is though the hand guns don't store in vehicle most he still has bad as weapons that do. You can kick the extra bits to the side and still he's well armed, cool!

I'll be looking forward to some new reviews: Peaugh, OPtibotimus, Ebeforei, Emgo and of course GRIM!

No, it had a retooled head. The Takara version, however, completely missed the point and is a straight repaint though.

 

If you say so. I can't stand the artwork in the IDW comics. As far as story goes, doesn't matter how good or bad it is. It's a comic, if the art sucks then I don't care to read it. I'd read a novel if I just wanted story. So these being based on IDW designs kills any desire to own them.

 

It's gonna be hard to stop myself from buying every Dreadwing I see. He's gonna look great next to my Calvin Johnson Megatron.

 

Someone needs to make an upgrade kit, so Dreadwing can have his shoulder launcher.

Oh thats right, there is a head change...still, kinda boring; the paint jobs are pretty bland.

 

The reviews I am looking forward to are for Skids and Waspinator.

 

Hurry up and grab youre idw stuff these waves are going to come and go quick. Its almost Oct the Christmas stuff will be here soon. Can't wait for armada ss
