I was browsing google last night for reviews of the first volume, when I noticed someone on the IDW forums had found an amazon.co.uk listing for Volume 3

then I checked the US amazon.com and noticed it's there too

I don't know if the pre-order itself counts as news (they usually dont get posted on the front page, if I recall), but the page lists 2 newsworthy things that I don't think I've seen on the front page: the contents of the book, and the release date of February 8.

"This volume includes the Transformer series Devastation, as well as Spotlights: Galvatron, Ramjet, Wheelie, Blaster, Arcee, Grimlock, and Mirage."

This would seem to make it 1 issue shorter than Volume 2 (which is itself 3 issues shorter than Volume 1), but the listing for Volume 2 mentions Spotlight: Soundwave, which is already in Volume 1. So, there's probably an error with the listing for Volume 2, and that might mean 3 and 2 are the same length

 

Hrm. I skipped buying the first two volumes since none of the local shops managed to order any.

If they are going to keep publishing more volumes, then I might snap and pick them all up.
