Have I mentioned that Mairghread Scott is my favorite IDW TF writer?

I've been wanting to see more of Needlenose. If I'm still reading notRID by then, I'll be interested in seeing what he's been up to.

And Megatron at an Autobot cemetery? That's going to be good. More interesting is Rewind and Chromedome. I expect they're going to get a lead on Dominus.

 

That Windblade cover makes me happy because more Beast Wars always rocks, but it also makes me sad because Combiner Wars means we won't be seeing any deluxe version of Tigatron/Cheetor (whoever it is).

 

So is that Chromedome cover a homage to 2001?  . Man it gets difficult to wait weeks in between issues and August so far away  

 

CC nailed that Arcee cover. Love both MTMTE covers as well.

 

Eeeee more Beast Wars characters! Fingers crossed for Airazor. She's is like my favourite Transformer of all time.

Loving the other covers and summaries. And oh ho ho, love and hate is it? I wonder what that means for Tracks and Needlenose. If it is hinting at a past relationship tgen good oh. It sometimes feels like the more 'risky' story elements get put into MTMTE as it's seen as the more progressive book. So it will be nice to see a bit more of that in Not-RiD.

 

What's with Bee on that first RID cover? Looks like a strange mix of his Prime and RID designs.

See, now I wasn't going to get invested in the RID15 comic, but then you guys had to go and put Smokescreen on issue 2's cover. Why do you torture me, IDW? Why?!

Black Arcee looks very oddly-proportioned. Like the artist made her lower chassis a lot tinier or something.

The only thing that is getting to grate a tad on me is the whole Chromedome/Rewind thing. There are other characters lol

The new Tracks/Needlenose dynamic will be a change of pace.

Also we will have had the Cosmos/Soundwave plot line at that point too.

 

i like The RID(Animated)#2 cover being a callback to transformers prime although i wonder if this means wheeljack's gonna show up at some point

I'll say one thing about the Transformers prime photo cover for RID#2....anyone else find it weird that arcee appears to have lipstick?
