    It's a shame that cover is an online exclusive. I'd love to have it as a printed cover. Really gives off IDW 1.0 vibes.

    Good first issue. Sets up the world a bit. Gives us some stakes. Leaves us with questions. This is clearly far enough out that you can squint and see your favorite continuity there.

    So do we know if this is part of the main series in any way? Or is it just another unconnected one-off story like King Grimlock?

    It's a standalone story that could takes place in the far future of some G1-adjacent continuity.

    Last Bot Standing #1 is great, y'all should read it, feels like a return to what got me stoked about Transformers comics after reading TDoOP and MTMTE #1 all those... oh, man, it's been 10 years?!

    Although I will say if you don't like trivial little things like "build up", "setting up a story" or "fleshing out the world/characters' backstories" you might not enjoy it very much.

    Liked everything about the issue except the heavy-handed soliloquoy about change and "cheaper resources" in the middle. We get it dude. =)

    I agree it's a tired and often overused plot, but might make sense given the possible direction of things going obsolete.

    1 page preview for Beast Wars #16? Well that\'s ironic since the annual already had like a 5 page (more or less) preview before issue 15 came out. Not the best scheduling organisation there  (not judging btw just making ironic observations)

    That Beastwars Cover A looks sweet, really great work and so much energy on show and I feel really happy for the kid who won the competition to get his art as the RI cover.
