was going to write a really long text explaining how i feel about the comics, the franchise, idw as a whole, and all of that but...its not worth it

Well I have my own issues with some IDW transformers, As this is how I see it I didn\'t really see anything wrong with the humanoid descriptions and and many of them did look male or female but they are also quite a lot that were quite ambiguous, you think it was a male and it wasn\'t and vice versa, the trouble is when they broke ground with rewind and chromedome and the robots in disguise series as a whole was just getting rave reviews, I think that\'s when IDW thought oh so so gay transformers sells comic books, and they took it too far, way way too far, now the reason I dislike this has nothing to do with... Not wanting gay robots

But I feel every \"gay\" couple introduced after rewind and chromedome detracted from what made that coupling so uniquely special in the first place and and if you look at both rewind and chromedome is there drawn in in robots in disguise, it was a beautiful story of two sparks finding each other when it\'s needed the other one most, and I think they kept trying to redo that with other characters and of course it never worked.

And why I think yes they overdid it to the point it become a bit of a meme, there were much bigger problems with idw in transformers. The whole reset I don\'t think really helped.

So in conclusion I don\'t care if they\'re gay straight or whatever as long as the story is a great the problem is they were not , yeah I\'m still supporting them every month lol at least ninja turtles pretty much consistently good

Something resembling an actual story from a comic book? Not all of us are impressed by explosions, pointless exposition and largely blank pages in a preview.

 

The first few pages got me feeling like, "In the time before time on the mysterious island of Mata Nui, six canisters washed ashore on a golden beach, and new and powerful legends were born..."

Have to admit that I'm a little concerned that once again, some kind of fleshlings seem to be the focal point of a Transformers story (the "last" story). I dig Roche and will obviously be buying this, but it's almost fitting that IDW's time with the Transformers ends in such a fashion, and I think that's a shame.

 

I suppose I'm in the minority...I liked the run.

The artwork was a bit inconsistent at times, but overall I didn't mind the story.
