    "Lost Lights... Stars saying goodbye..."

    "It was over. finished!"

Talk about hitting all the emotional beats for the final IDW Transformers title. and one last Furmanism for good measure.

I said so before but that splash panel with the blown up planets and all the characters is beautiful. I'd love a version without all the text panels.

See, this sort of stuff should have been in the first issue. There was no need to waste pages on empty meaningless filler in the first issue.

Really like the disparate amount of characters from TF continuities showing up here on the splash page and the Visitor's group.

Yep. Getting strong "Breath of the Wild" vibes where it's set far enough in the future where the specific continuity doesn't really matter because at that point it's all blurred in to legend.

That splash page is just *chef's kiss*. So, uh, Roddy's narration isn't exactly making it sound like he didn't crash the ship in an attempt to end it all, huh?
By "filler" do you mean establishing the tone and setting? The first issue wasn't exactly decompressed either! Like, damn, dude, you must miss out on so much good fiction if you can't bear any amount of build up. Is the only thing you care about deadpan lore and action?

yeah that splash page of "the war" is awesome. Haven't enjoyed one like that since.... the old 3H Wreckers page with everyone escaping together.

Anyone able to help identify these two from the splash page?

First one is the drill tank in front of Flamewar and the Noisemaze Mass Production Type, above Calcar.

Second one is above Thunder Clash, in front of Bulkhead. It looks sorta like a stylized Armada Red Alert but I can't tell for sure.

Im old school in that I expect Transformers to be in Transformers books. Not some pointless human characters.

    What is your argument really?

“Duh… Transformers fan must be stoopid finking Transformers comiks must have Transformers characters in dem”

We have had build up in the past that didn’t rely on the exploring the alien populace. If I wanted a book to not be about Transformers, I’d read a book not about Transformers. Last Bot Standing is a Transformers book.

Really? I'm rereading the Marvel comics and it's practically stuffed to the gills with pointless human characters.

To be fair, this story is taking place after a long period of time since the Cybertronian wars had obviously ended and the universe is "at peace" without them. So naturally the writers would open their book taking place in that world, when suddenly a ghost of the past has apparently been their family farm vehicle long enough and they never knew it.

Technically the argument's moot when Rodimus has literally been there the entire time despite not being the center of attention.
