just weird waist-twist
Art done entirely by Milne?
You're spoiling me, IDW.
there is to takara since they’re not making selects anymore for the next year. The premium line has replaced it
Devastator was released again in the past year. A new release of Abominus is coming soon. Pre-orders were months ago and the release date is nearing.
Agreed, there's no waste to be had. Selects is an ongoing line of special releases. Abominus, Volcanicus come to mind. Previously done, then re-released in conjunction with Takara. Just because Takara did a UW version, doesn't mean it's automatically disregarded as an option
Hasbro and Takara plan these out, I think collector's overall have been satisfied with the recent special releases. Who would have thought a Super Megatron would ever get made!?
Oh hi Thunderwing!

Question from someone who has never bought a comic and doesn't understand the industry: how is it that virtually all of the IDW Transformers comics get delayed at least once from their initial release date? Why even announce specific release dates if it's probably going to get delayed anyway?
Milne is the best and most consistent transformers artist and you all know I’m right.
Not that I disagree with you, but usually when most people say "wasting a spot" they're referring more to the idea that resources and development time were "wasted" rather than a superfluous "slot" that needs to be filled.
That first page with the inkwash is gorgeous.
My personal favorites (who are also very consistent) are Guido Guidi and Casey Coller. But Alex Milne definitely completes the top 3 : )
Oh, and Sara Pitre-Durocher. Especially when she colors her own art. And Kei Zama.
Guess it's a top 5 then : P
New Canto, New Sonic, New TMNT, and MUCH more
Which ones are you picking up??
Nothing is planned to be delayed. They have to set dates but things happen for a million reasons. They don’t want their books to get delayed but it happens. Even big books get delayed. Waking dead through a rough first few years before getting track. Same with invincible. Doomsday clock was ridiculously delayed. So was dark knight 3. Both books took almost 2 years to finish. Invincible once got a 5 month delay. I’m a huge fan of Chew and that book was delayed regularly and it’s spin off series had a planned 6 month gap between issue 5 and 6 with issue 6 planned for April till it was announced it won’t be out till July now. Sucks but I’m still gonna get it when it comes out.

I certainly hope this plan involving Jumpstream goes well. Nice to see one of the Rust Renegades/Torchbearers other than Pyra Magna getting some development, and the Autobots really need a win.
I absolutely love Milne\'s work but there are times where there is a lot going with some of the designs. The Bludgeon looks epic though.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, DUDE!!!!
You've gotten SO DOPE. I'm not gonna lie I wasn't your biggest fan back in the OTFCC days... now, you're one of my favorite comic artists, period.
At this point it's kind of a given they'll GET a win, because right now it's been nothing but Ls, and unless they get some Ws the war won't be able to go on for thousands/millions of years and eventually reach Earth, LOL
Oh, re: TF 31,
Skywarp is definitely the Lord of Misrule.
Here are the pages in better quality to make it easier to read what is written:
I want a titan of the clocktower.
