IDW’s Transformers Comics Solicitations: June 2021 - Transformers News - TFW2005
Jumpstream? Who the heck is that? Son of the Jumpstarters and Jetstream? Ah it\'s one of the forgettable Victorion members. I do wish Hasbro would have painted them differently - it\'s why I bought Megatronia instead, they all look different. I can still not tell the limbs of the Hasbro version apart. Also that Cheetor looks really weird.
Hooray! We're getting the victorion team back. I love their colors and very unique characters. I can't wait for (insert forgotten name here) to be a hero!
Yeah he looks like a meme or something haha very strange. That RI cover is dope though!
Freaked out Voin: "How did this Cybertronian get here?!?!?!"
Jumpstream: "Wrong location ."
I see what you did there, mr. Milne ; )
\"Jumpstream’s expanded teleporting powers have left her stranded and alone. She has only one option to return home, but is she willing to do it? Plus, her adventures herald the return of Cybertron’s Lord of Misrule. But who are they and how will they change Cybertron’s future?\"
Oh hey look, its her teleport ability that no one remembers. Just like Skywarp.
Stories like the one with Jumpstart make me really long for an IDW comic, even if it's a limited series, about a combiner team.
It'd be awesome to really get in to the interpersonal dynamic of the components. How do they get along in and out of combined mode? How do those relationships impact the combiner?
The premise I'd pitch is an established team loses a member, and a new recruit is brought in to take on that role. That way we've got an audience analog to have things explained to.
And once the series was finished, HasTak could release a boxed set of the team. Because I'd also make it a *new* team so people didn't bring any preconceptions about the members going in.
They did do one about the constructions, but it was 4 issues rather than something like a limited series.
I want a brand new team so they don't have to feel constrained by existing lore.
Okay, the Natgeo parody covers have been pretty hit or miss, but I gotta admit I find the Cheetor and Terrorsaur one pretty funny if for no other reason than their expressions.
That Burcham cover though, damn. Looks like Dinobot's gonna have a pretty rough start with the Maximals.
Wait who is with pinkie pie in the crossover cover?
My two favorite characters from both sides.
Getting a very Jurassic Park vibe from Beast Wars #5 A cover
Gauge, some OG from the new IDW continuity.
Bumblebee looks traumatized
Cheetor does not appreciate Terrorsaur photobombing him.
