OOh, this looks very Transformers Animated.

 

The Tripreducus Council is now in session.

 

I'm really looking forward to this, mostly because it's new Beast Wars content. I like the artstyle so far and I hope the writing is on the same level. Nothing will recapture what the original show was able to do but I have faith that they can make a story that stands on its own.

You can criticize how stylized his linework is, but his coloring is still divine.

 

Now This needs to be are next cartoon series. A come back of Beast Wars. Not BotBots a thing that may end Transformers.

 

How. Botbots is gonna be for the wee lads has been running fine for the past 3-ish years.

 

Tripredacus! God, I hope we get figures out of this! I would LOVE a new tripredacus figure! Cannot wait for this series to come out! I haven't realized how hungry I am for Beast Wars content until I started getting it. It's like when you haven't eaten all day, and you eat a tiny snack and you realize how hungry you are. My tummy is grumbling for Beast Wars.

 

The art is basically animated style with Burcham's godly colours. If anything the book will look amazing.

 

Sorry. Animated looking style is not for me. But maybe it\'ll bridge the gap for Animated fans to get into the concept of Beast Wars if not the original show.

 

I gotta say, I'm actually pretty hyped to see Tripredacus. I always found their breif scene fascinating. A brief look at predacon politics. I really liked seeing how Megatron was thought of by other Predacons not on his team.

The Beast Era is super ripe for some world building. I want them to focus ont he core cast, not introduce too many characters that aren't needed and distract from the main story, but small hints here and there beyond welcome.

 

I hope they deviate from the original because I could recite that from memory if I needed to.

I love the idea of Nyx because it's a clear sign they want to go in new directions. I hope this delivers on that.

 

Hm. Why create a new BW character? Do they know how many Maximals they could\'ve used from the Toyline. The Toyline was huge compared to modern TF Toylines. 

 

I just don’t understand what’s going on here? New characters in a show/story we’ve know for 25 years now! Is this just a reimagining of beast wars or what the hell is happening. Why try and tell the same story with some slight tweaks? I can already say I’m bias and against Nyx as a character because one we have a female bat character in the beast era who never got any attention other than appearing in a comic book and a toy line and two it’s confusing me. When they announce this back in the day lol they said they’re staying true to beast wars and that the fans of said show would love what they have planned. I’m going to remain optimistic and hope that all our favourites appear in the book but man Im doubtful this will be The beast wars we know and love

 

They will have similar beginnings, but other than that it's going to be a brand new story.

 

Think of it in the vein of the MCU or the Ultimate universe [or IDW's own "G1" universes]. Similar bones, but its a new story/take/continuity

 

So, redundant/unwanted new character (there are LOADS of existing BW characters that didn\'t get any significant exposure in the show or handful of other comics) and a TF Animated aesthetic?

Not a great start.  It\'s like making a \"TF Animated\" comic in a CG Beast Wars aesthetic.  What would be the point?

Let\'s hope the rest of the comic can look much better, eh readers?
