It's confirmed that while the beginning will be similar to the original show, it'll then end up being different enough to be it's own thing.

Hopefully not and it’s just using a plot point not I like how G1 has been utilized so much. Almost the same cast and they crash on earth and have to take beast modes

I know whats been said about BW toys next year, but LOOK! 2/4 of the missing major TITS are on that art!

Does this not allow a little more hope at getting those last 3 BW S1 characters?

    Oh, that's good to hear.

That seems like a good enough place to start off anyway.

So I'm not the only one who thinks the Josh Burcham cover looks too goofy? Those weird, tiny sideways mouths he loves to draw a lot are triggering all the bad spots in my brain.

Not only you. Seeing Josh's drawings on twitter is fine, but he is SO not the kind of person I'd want doing a comic book. His art is super stiff.

Transformer fans don't deserve stylised designs.

Stylised does not recquire someone to be ass with silhoeutte, shape language, poses and backgrounds tho. All of those things are important for story-telling, which is what comics will be doing

Really enjoyed Burcham's work on the Botcon Machine Wars arc. I'm not the biggest fan of Beast Wars, but if it's his art, I'll go for it.

Previously I would have agreed with you, however his work in the Christmas special surprised me in a good way.

I'm not interested in a Beast Wars comic but I might get it just to see his artwork.

That's a draw for me. I enjoy when a comic is presented with some humor or wit to them.

We did fine with MTMTE I think in that department, complimentary artwork is always a plus.
