No kidding. It would look perfectly fine without the pupils
People draw Prime art differently. I’m discussing the art style, not the artistic choices.
You were mentioning the eyes because it was reminding you of Stone's art. That's exactly where did she get this method of drawing eyes. Otherwise the style is quite different here. Stone art is very painterly with sketchy lines, this cover is a very classic inked one with a very clean manga linework and a digital cuts&grads coloring. There isn't much the same in terms of style here.
Springer looks like he means business. Dig the art!
I did say remind me, not exactly like them. Sorry this is a bit confusing I admit. I agree the styles are different overall. They eyes just had a few key similarities which I noticed. Not just because there were pupils though.
That's Murder in his eye.
In fact he may be in the middle of bringing all sorts of Justice to a lawless land.
Heeeeeeeeey wait a sec ..........
At the end of Requiem for the Wreckers, didn't Springer go back in time to......
you all don't think that...... hmmmmm, I wonder .
That would be dope. But I won’t hold that too close.
Looks like he's got better things to do tonight than, well, you know...
Cool story bro.
more than likely - you're probably right.
I’m not against dimension hopping though. Who knows where the Lost Light ended up?
He is after Texas Red.
Why can\'t these be as well written as the current transformers ghostbusters comics?
How’s that one going?
It's doing fantastic actually, it's amazingly well written, the characters all get equal time to shine, and it's fun and doesn't take itself seriously.
It's not the pupil that bugs me about this eye. It's about how humongous his eye looks. My eyes end roughly around the same longitude where my cheekbones rest. Looking at the pic, the lighting/shading and accent line makes it look like the corner of his eyes actually surpass the cheekbone, ending at his temple. In other words, it looks like he has gigantically weird anime eyes.
Nothing wrong with that in general, but it's giving me that uncanny valley feeling.

I just finished 1-12, I had actually forgotten all about this reboot. Honestly, I should have left it "forgotten" cause this story is slow and incredibly boring. It reads like weird fanfiction, the kind where personalities are out of character, other characters are just thrown into roles for no real reason and just about everyone is annoying and they're all annoyed/angry to be in this fanfic. New character Rubble was a complete waste, I was kind of excited when he was introduced because I misread his name as "Rumble" and thought he was our POV character and we'd get to see him experience a pre-war Cybertron and eventually make a choice as to what side he falls on, at which point the story would expand to the overall civil war and give us perspectives from other characters. That sounds kind of exciting and interesting and we could get a sort of similar relationship with Rumble and Bee like Optimus and Megatron have due to their previous relationship.
Instead, ugh. It's just one boring set piece with characters that act like they're irritated to be in this story and all feel like they're in the wrong roles. If feels like nearly everyone is only in the comic so far because they have a Siege toy on the shelves and not because they make the best choice to be in the story. Man, even Starscream seems a lot more vain but a lot more stupid/incompetent too. Imagine my shock when they revealed he was the director of Intelligence on Cybertron and yet he couldn't be bothered to be interested in that job. It took me too long to get through twelve issues and I don't think I'm gonna bother with 13 onwards, which is a terrible shame cause IDW's TF comics were what got me back and kept me in the TF fandom.
This story is just boring and dumb. I'm hoping Galaxies is far better....
Why can't they get Eric Burnham to write these. His writing in transformers ghostbusters is fantastic
