I just hope we end up getting some sweet 3rd party toys out of it like they did with G-creation and MMC. I would love some new designs for old characters and some new characters too. The more Beast Wars media, the greater chance we have of getting new beast molds.

While I doubt this is the caseicase, I'd be open to this series connecting with the upcoming movie.

I really hope this ties into WFC3 being Beast Wars and the new movie also being BW... even if they’re one-offs, I’d like to see Hasbro take another stab at it instead of just incorporating homages.
As for being a clone of the original series or not, I’d rather see something more along the lines of Animated, the Bumblebee movie, and WFC video game in the style of Beast Wars... I think they should use the classic characters of course (god please not another Gathering), but I would like to see a new perspective on the story. We already have prehistoric Earth, and it was done perfectly. Maybe set the movie on present day Earth like the original pitch for the show, and a WFC-style game in the vein of Beast Machines. Then do a total reboot of the show, but please nothing like RID15 or Cyberverse... Animated and Prime were excellent reimaginings of the franchise, and they had the complete opposite tones.

As for the comic, I’d like to see them do what they did with Animated and introduce a story that takes place between episodes. That can easily be done in season 1, and maybe do some stuff between Bad Spark and Transmutate. No new characters, just create more episodes in comic form that don’t contradict the show. Hell, bring on Bob Forward as an adviser even.

IDW Entertainment probably isn't long for this world, which means no more Netflix shows like Locke and Key, but the original IDW publishing comic brand will likely be fine for now.

I think a reboot like cyberverse would be great if hasbro advertised it more I mean cyberverse felt like a g1 movie perhaps a series similar to it could do the same thing.

The quality on Cyberverse, not just the show itself but also the toy line, was bottom-of-the-barrel terrible. It rivaled the Machinima series. As did RID15... that’s why I have low hopes for the Netflix series since it shares a lot of the same creatives. Definitely would not want any of them involved in a potential Beast Wars show... would rather see Marty Isenberg and Bob Forward collaborate and pull elements from Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and Animated.

Well it didn’t really rival because the ratings was higher than most of the shows and not that many people hated it (but the animation and voice is terrible) but the 3rd wfc installment might pull some elements from the show too like the first did like it could make some characters animalistic and part of a larger group or make the alspark involved(the allspark is really getting old but it keeps getting involved in different media).

It won’t be long before that kicks the bucket as well.

I doubt that, I think all signs point to IDW comics still being here for a while to come, along side of Boom!, Dark Horse, and everyone else. But I guess we'll see.

That depends. Idw is poor at marketing their products. If it isn’t going to die soon, then it’ll happen eventually if nothing changes.

Eventually can be a long time. But that's really the entire comic book industry in a nutshell, especially the marketing problems, which is not a new problem and certainly not exclusive to IDW. But for now they're still here.

Did you actually watch Cyberverse past the first episode or two? By the time you get to Season 2 with Starscream eyeing genocide and some particularly interesting permadeaths, Cyberverse gets pretty dark and gritty. It's just sugar-coated. Kind of like an adult fruity beverage...

I could see IDW being bought by a bigger fish, but I doubt it’ll go away..
