The lack of PvP multiplayer modes being one of the biggest criticisms of ROTDS, and FOCs being seen by many as a dumbed down version of WFCs, what features would people like to see in future multiplayer modes? Personally, I'd prefer WFC to be used as the template rather than FOC - Return the vehicle abilities from WFC (and set them up the same way, its HORRIBLE on PS3 trying to thrust in jet form with L1, and barrel roll with L2, it feels completely unnatural). As extra vehicle weapons are one of the few new things ROTDS added, it'd also be nice if players could choose the ones they want their vehicle equipped with (like bombs instead of missiles for jets, or a choice between powerful straight firing or slightly weaker lock on missiles for trucks etc) Return grenades, and perhaps give each class a couple to choose from this time. Return the ability to pick up fallen players weapons. Two abilities per character, though Dash would be universal to ALL classes, giving you a choice of whether you want to go with mobility or utility. Killstreaks should make a return, and increase the number available to each class - you could choose the ones you want each of your custom characters to use, much like abilities. Also, give more ways to access them rather than simply killing other players, it'd be cool if a dedicated healer/medic was able to utilise killstreaks by repeatedly patching up allies. Tweak the create a transformer feature, it doesn't have to be drastic given that FOCs worked very well, but simple changes like making heads universal to all classes, and the ability to choose your own two/three colours instead of set combinations (if they can't introduce sliders, then just give players some 30 or so pre-set colours that can be mixed and matched freely) would greatly open and expand the features creative potential.
Battlefield has the ability to say to other players: "Thank you" "Go, go, go" "Get out" "Need a ride" etc. Also would like there to be Tanks and Ships you can pilot would be nice. Having the two sides having their own base on large maps with up to at least 20 on a team. I would like if the surroundings could be destroyed and the buildings could collapse into a pile of rumble if lots of damage is done to it. And if it was a game based on earth there would be humans running around that you can shoot at. Also if there could be different positions on multiplayer teams going by your stats such as Leader, Troop, Back up. The Leader would be held back at the base commanding and directing the other Decepticons or Autobots or in a ship above the map. (the leader can choose to fight if he chooses) Also opening and closing doors and the whole money system like escalation has, where you can purchase the installations, decoys etc. And the way to win the game is for the other team to infiltrate the other teams base or ship, not by points. Most of this has come from Battlefield and I have lots more to say but my laptop is running out of battery.
