?

Should photography threads get their own subforum?

My favorite threads on TFW are the Cool Stuff, Pics of Pairs, Super Clear, and appreciation threads. I feel like these too often get buried within the other toy threads, and that they would benefit from being in their own dedicated Photography subforum.

Anyone else feel this way? Or see merit in the idea? How hard would it be to separate them into their own thing? Maybe put the subforum in the Creative section?

Mods: Please feel free to move this, but given the subject matter, I thought this the best place to post it.

If this does go forward (and I hope it does!), let's include discussion about lighting, techniques, and general photography info :)

Appreciation threads are full of discussion about the toys and not purely photography; if this were to happen, I'd hope there wouldn't be any rules or restrictions about toy discussion in Appreciation threads, or that Appreciation threads would be excluded from this new subforum IMO.

That’s a good point. I definitely wouldn’t want to stifle the discussion in those threads.

Dunno how hard it would be, but I´m with you. Great idea.

I'd be down for it. Mostly cause I think it would be the perfect home for diorama and outdoor photography thread.
