My idea for a custom would be a Decepticon based on the truck from the movie Duel, His name would be Guzzler and he could be a Decepticon general. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xZsoMSEsaA
So let me start out by saying this is not a dig at you at all, just a question that your post made me want to ask. What is the end goal of posting an idea for a character? Is it just an idea that you had and want to get feedback on? Do you want someone to make the character (either custom or artwork)? or something else? I've noticed a few people talking about a character idea and just don't know what people are thinking. It almost feels like people are trying to get their idea out there so that if anyone else tries to do it they can say they did it first. Heh, maybe I'm just reading to much into it all and think "patent trolls" are everywhere now Again, not a dig at you or that I'm saying its a bad idea, just trying to understand where people are coming from and what the end goal is. Randy!
i think (and hope) that people post character ideas in search of feedback, suggestions for a base mold, suggestions on how to improve their initial ideas of how to execute the customization, and possibly in the hopes that someone with more time/motivation/skill will take their idea and actually make it happen. it's also possibly just a search for confirmation that their idea is worthwhile and other people like it. as for your custom 003agentCIA, i think this idea does have some potential, even if the movie isn't especially well known. my first thought when i saw that clip is using a movie prime as a base mold and creating an onslaught from it, because for some reason that trucks' personality and aesthetic just screamed G1 onslaught to me. i'm not really sure why as now that i think about it more, it doesn't really make sense. however, you could easily just do a repaint & new head and call it an original character. on second thought, an RID scourge would get you both the truck and trailer, put a nice weathered paint job on it and a mean face and you're there. you'll probably want to think up some more back-story though.
