I wish hasbro/takara would make a MASTERPIECE OPTIMAL OPTIMUS or PRIMAL PRIME

It was an awesome figure in my opinion and would look even better with an upgrade in scale/design. I love masterpiece prime but think optimal optimus/primal prime would look awesome if it was crafted in a masterpiece form. Who else here agrees??? Does anyone know where I can email hasbro or rep with the idea???? Plus maybe enough of us fans can get them to produce a few of the lucky draws in a different color but in a more mass amt for the american public.

Dude! Why would you want that when you could have ANOTHER Optimus Prime!!

Actually I would concider it, only after I got starscream and Skywarp. Mostly skywarp first though.

i wouldn't want an Optimal Optimus or Primal Prime, the original figures are accurate enough and in scale with the MP mold anyway.

i would much prefer to see a mp pretm primal and megs.

I didn't care for the toy enough to buy a more expensive version with a few more moving parts. Reissue the toy WITHOUT CHROME, that I'd favor.

I always thought Air Attack Optimus Primal was masterpiece quality, or at least very close.

The only thing that really needs to be changed for OPOP are his rail guns (need to be toon accurate) and perhaps articulate his fingers better. Beyond that the figure we already got is Masterpiece in everyway.

What more could you reasonably expect out a MP version of either of those figures?

Besides, I suppose, a markedly increased price tag.

Yeah - I think MPs should be toys where the originals don't live up to current standards. The BW stuff is still pretty good.

I'm still hoping for something like MP Galvatron, or Grimlock

HMMM see your point there!! Hmmm how bout a masterpiece beast wars dinobot??? They could clean up the legs under the dino stomach and make it more show accurate.

I'm not fond enough of the original to make a MP worth buying. Arms are too long, legs too short. Scrap either the monkey or the 'Bot and it'd be ok, but as it is... No.

Maybe Dinobot... BW should probably be left untouched until 2015 though.

Aye, the original figs are damn near perfect already, no sense in updating.

About the only things they could improve on the Optimal Optimus mold are finger articulation and making the guns toon-accurate (it would be awesome if they can tuck into the shoulders like they do in the cartoon and spring out when needed). Otherwise, I'm hoping for either Devastator or WW:OP to be given the Masterpiece treatment (and I consider myself a BW fan).

Monkey masterpiece? No thanks. Dislike for BW aside, the prime toys I have seen for BW seem pretty show accurate as it is, with decent articulation.

Rhinox needs a MP version more than OPOP, but MP is too large for that figure. A proper Ultra class would work for him.

I would totally buy an MP Primal if they detailed the bot mode up and made the gorilla look like a real gorilla. However, I much rather see an MP Movie Optimus Prime before BW Primal.

Personally, I would rather have a MP version of RID Optimus Prime (yeah, the toy already made for him is extremely close, but, it's hard to find, or at least it has for me). He wouldn't have to combine with an Ultra Magnus imo, so that there could help with the improvements. Hoever, I would settle with a Classics/Universe Update of him (especially if it was Leader Class sized).

Aye. G1 toys didn't have the sophisticated engineering of BW and so-on toys, which is what Master Peice is all about? Giving better engineering to original figures?
