I was debating getting one of the Movie Voyagers. Which one is the best? I'm kinda leaning towards Ratchet, personally. Should I wait until the Premium series comes out?

 

Out of all of them, I'd say pass. None of them are super duper amazing.

Ratchet is a good figure. Both decos are easy on the eyes, though I personally prefer the original sceme.

Blackout would be good, were it not for the broken transformation. Though still, he is fun and comes with mini-scorps.

Starscream is a great figure IMO, but not very accurate to his on-screen version and the vehicle mode isn't very F-22-ish. Though I recommend waiting for Deep-Space repaint version as I beleive we can all agree, the original deco sucks.

 

Out of the 4 I have, they're all pretty good. The two best are Starscream and Ratchet imo. With DS Starscream coming out, I would get that version if I were you, though I actually do like the origional deco (it's the one I have), it would just be a bit easier to get a hold of the new one coming out.

 

Go for Starscream or Ratchet. Or if you're not set on getting one that was in the movie get Incinerator.

 

I'd go with Ratchet. Great looking figure and fun transformation. But then again, he's the only one I have.

 

Ironhide. Definitely the best of the four Voyagers who appear in the movie. Starscream is a pretty close second, but Ironhide is a definite must-have.

Ratchet is okay, but pretty simplistic. Blackout is severely hampered by his broken automorph feature.

 

I Have three suggestions:

Rescue Ratchet
Incinerator
Evac

 

^^ Agreed. I would also like to recommend Incinerator.

 

As I do not yet have Evac or Incinerator, of all the movie Voyagers I have, Ironhide is still my favourite. Get the original black tho

 

I would have to say Ironhide. The Premium version should start hitting retail in about a month, and will be alot easier to find than the first release.

 

If you could only get one I would go for one of the voyager primes. My second choice would be metallic ratchet and then metallic megatron.

 

I only own Iornhide and Starscream, I want to pic up the G1 color repaint of Ratchet though. I would say get Iornhide if you had to chose between him and Starscream. Iornhide's transformation can be a bit of a pain at first but the figure itself is very well built overall and is pretty sweet with how the guns come together and can't fire without being locked together. He also is pretty accurate to the Movie version unlike Star Starscream.

 

I've got one of each voyager mold...

Incinerator and Ironhide are easily the best.

Ratchet's fun, but a little on the simpler side.

Starscream's wings/upper torso can be a real pain in the butt sometimes.

Megatron... uhhh... lies down and sticks his arms out (like Superman flying).

Prime's okay... I prefer the Leader class.

Blackout is all kinds of badass, but that upper propeller is kind of a pain, the automorph either breaks or doesn't work, unless you're lucky (I've heard of a few people it's worked for). Mini-Scorpinok is cute, though. Evac has hands and a cool gun, though.

 

Ironhide and Starscream are my recommendations, in that order. Ironhide is pretty much one of the best voyagers moulds from the past years, has an amazing transformation sequence and combines realistic vehicle mode with articulated and ridiculously detailed robot mode.

Starscream has a so-so vehicle mode but the robot is very poseable. Transformation is one of the best for jets in a mainline, just about every part has a hinge to go to, a joint to rest on.

Ratchet comes third, but I'm always talking about the movie colours, not the G1 version. Nicely articulated [can actually pull poses better than the other two] but a bit too bulky for my taste. Transformation is so-so, putting back the front area of the Hummer when going back to vehicle can be a bit annoying. Lack of any handheld gun hurts it a bit.

Avoided Blackout due to the diminutive size and problems with the transformation.

Optimus and Megatron have better renditions in their leader size classes.

 

Ironhide is the best movie Voyager hands down and probably one of the best movie toys to boot.

 

I've got Ratchet, Starscream and Blackout and I like Ratchet the best. Fantastic alt mode, fun transformation, nice colours plus he's huge and bulky in robot mode. He looks great and he's the best all round IMO.

I've passed on Ironhide because I always thought he looked crappy.

 

Gte Ironhide and Blackout's Prenium or the Voyagers Incinerator. I hear incinerators Badass but so is Ironhide and Blackout.

 

I would say Ratchet or Prime.

If you get Ironhide be careful. His Automorph is fragile.
