I tried mixing PCC team leaders with Energon 5-in-1 basics,here's the results.

First off: as mentioned before,the PCC team leader connecting peg is bigger than the energon 5-in-1 deluxe sized team leader connecting peg.

Second off: the PCC basic sized team leader connecting peg is more square. while the energon 5-in-1 deluxe sized team leaders connecting leg is more rounded off & has more corner.

I used the PCC Basic sized Searchlight helicopter toy. I transformers searchlight into his gestalt mode configuration. I used the energon 5-in1 combiner basics from the constructicon toy.

You've really got to jam & push & extert extra force. just to get the 4 basics sized energon 5-in-1 combiners connected to searchlight.

the end result looks kinda incredible. even though the PCC team leader gestalt has a small gestalt head.

NOW ON TO THE REAL PROBLEM. trying to pull out the 4 basics sized energon 5-in-1 combiners is tons harder to attempt than it was to try to attach them on.

I actually broke one connecting peg on my PCC searchlight trying to pull a energon 5-in-1 basic off of searchlight. I had to use a tiny phillips screw driver to take apart a energon basic in order to get the peg out of the hole.

HONESTLY,If you have no plans of detaching the energon 5-in-1 basics from search light. then I say go for it & try it.

If you have plans on attaching & detaching a few times,then I say don't try it.

RANDOM SIDE NOT CAUTION: As noted by others & now myself. once you detach/pull out the energon 5-in-1 combiners from the PCC Basic. the 5-in-1 basics round hole will be streched out a bit. causing the energon limbs to connect a bit loosely on the energon 5-in-1 deluxe team leaders connecting peg. Because the pcc Basic teams leaders bigger peg stretches out the hole of the energon 5-in-1 basic in order to connect.

I think that's an accurate synopsis. The image that comes to mind here is some toddler in a trying to jam the square block into the round hole and not having much luck.

 

I only tried what other internet TF fans claimed to have tried with the PCC & energon combiners.

if you don't try new ideas & take a few risk in life. then what's the point of living. I prefer to live a exciting life instead of a cautious & booring life.

If the thread author doesn't have a camera, I don't see why someone else can't take photos and post them.

I don't think anyone is really going to be eager to try this after the TC's reports that it isn't particularly easy and can break your figures.

i was expecting to see some pics as well......i was hoping your thread may change my view on the PCC line. i am afraid to say this thread is an epic failure.

 

I don't see why this thread is such a "failure".
Tigermegatron has a fairly interesting idea, tries it out, and reports on whether it works or not. He doesn't have a camera (not everyone does, people) so he describes it instead. There are problems with his concept so he reports on them and warns others about them.
No particular "fail" there, except in the heads of people who are too lazy to use their imagination to visualise something.
