I wasn't sure if this should go under the coupon thread since I didn't use a coupon. Anyway while we were in Cincinnati I stopped by a TRU and I found Prime. The price check said $129.99 but when we got rung up it came to $111.01 after tax. I'm not sure if it was a goof up or what but I wanted to share just in case others on here were waiting for a sale.

Again I didn't use a coupon or anything.

I would have preferred the first release but I missed out.

In that case it's the best you can get. Thankfully I have the original.

    And I will still pass.

Thanks DecepticonSpike for the heads up, regardless.

It looks like the cashier just scanned a 20% off coupon for you. Probably the Friends and Family one. Says right on your receipt "20% of item."

I stacked coupons and snagged mine for $65. I'd say that's worth it to me.

Mine came to about $115 after tax because of some coupon the cashier applied. I don't think he's on sale just yet.

And for what it's worth, I'm a staunch YOTH Prime defender. The deco looks MUCH better in person, and it's certainly better than no MP-10 at all!

$65 is a point I would consider it.

If the damn thing would sit on the shelf for longer than five minutes after it gets stocked, that might be possible. No, wait, we're talking about Toys-R-Us here.

Yes. I kind of like him. But I've already got two versions of the mold and way too many toys. There's no way to justify it. But at that price point I'd probably jump anyhow.

I'd recommend picking one up before they're all gone. Hopefully, a 3rd party company will make chrome/silver replacement parts. :)

I read you can remove the gold to reveal the silver underneath. It's in one of the customs threads.

    You're welcome.

    That's how I see it.

Acid Storm is clogging the shelves at my closest TRU and he's still full price.

I have never seen Acid Storm at any of the TRUs in this area. Ever. True story.
