How's this for Overload, ie the red bot fighting Bumblebee, ie the top left component in the Devastator blueprint? - Back hoe... CHECK! - Red/black... CHECK! - Car-like scale... CHECK! - Treads... CHECK! This is the best fit I've been able to find.
On the blue print, it doesn't say Back Hoe; it says "Back ##7." That being the 7 has a strike through it like in some hand writing. You can tell it says "Back ##7" because all of the other constructicons listed show "Right Arm ###" or "Left Leg ###."
I don't like it. Overload 1. is always an Autobot 2. is usually decked out in guns and 3. always has a some sort of armored vehicle alt-mode.
Better get your head around it. Overload: 1. Is a Constructicon, ie Decepticon 2. Probably won't have any guns 3. Needless to say, is a construction vehicle
uKER I think you are correct. The "body" shape does make sense for BB's opponent to be based on an excavator. While the term "backhoe" isn't really wrong. It does pertain more towards a bulldozer or wheel tractor with a loader on the front and the hoe on the back. The term "backhoe" is 100 times more correct than "steam shovel". A dedicated "hoe" is generally refered to as being an excavator. The outfits are great fun to operate, just like the sandbox as kid but larger and noisier. I did have an incident while using one. While digging a ditch, the embankment collapsed, the excavator and myself while inside it.Rolled down into the ditch and landed greasy side up. If it had not been for the seatbelt I would have been tossed out then crushed underneath. b&d

Hmm, I always feel strangely ignored when I post. I highly doubt a backhoe would be part of Devastator for his sheer size. You would need something huger in scale to connect all the components. "Back ##7" makes a lot more sense IMO.
To form Devastator. To make the mid to upper torso and the shoulders/upper arms. That 1080 ton bicycle wheeled excavator thing that Prime jumps onto is required.
look at the size of the torso and shoulders you think demolisher makes up all that? shiiiiiiiit he must be mass shifting. theres 7 constructicons that make up devs i put money on it.
Just like Long Haul became the torso of Devastator in the cartoon. Only this time it's Demolishor who gets the honor. I'd go with my 6.
I still think its a red articulated dump truck that forms the back. The pic from the concept art is in 'dumping position'. You can see the hydraulic in the 'con lower body from the trailer. I don't know about it whip weapons. It either the wheels unravel into whips or rampage is totally miscolor. This better not be another Beast Machines.
Overload forms the spine. U can see from the game pics even, he has a red arse. Demolishor is the big big torso, but he's not the entire chest. bits of rampage, bits of longhaul, and most of overload, forms the lower chest. or crotchal region. the big arm would be perfect for a spine type structure.
