So would you say that cancer cannot destroy your.... destiny? Get it? Cuz your user name is Unicron :p  I don't think I've ever spoken to you before today but I found your story uplifting. I hope things continue to go well for you.

What a story. That’s truly heartbreaking, crazy and ultimately amazing.
Can’t even begin to understand what that whole ordeal must have been like and hope I never have to either.
I’m so happy for you and your family.
Congratulations on your return to life.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Its easy for me to slide into thinking that what actually happened here was a couple of coincidences and me being misdiagnosed, but there were too many other things, including little things I didn't mention here, that make me feel even more that by allowing myself to think that way I take for granted a second chance I got that could have gone drastically differently. Either way though, I figure it can't hurt to try and better myself as a person and guide my kids toward something positive to believe in that helps them have a good moral compass and encourages us to try and help other people more often.

    Ahhhhhh, nice one.
I did not in fact Proceed... On my way to oblivion.

Rib breaking too. Cus they broke 4 of my ribs in surgery. Gunna be a while before I'm anywhere near 100%, but I'm feeling better each week. Even though this all began and ended within just over 2 months time (aside from my continuing recovery of course) I gotta say, it changed how I look at some things. There are things I don't care about anymore that used to matter to me but are now utterly insignificant, while some things I used to ignore have real importance to me now. I feel like I truly know some people in my life much better now too with a better idea of who they really are and what I mean to them. My tolerance for some things is now zero, while other things I used to generally ignore or be impatient about get my full attention and time. Not trying to be dramatic, but I think I have a better idea now of what actually matters.

    A clean bill of health.
In reference to one of those "last" customs... life found a way.

I'm not sure if I rank at all as a good customer from that one minor TFP FE Starscream tweak you did for me years ago, but it's good to know that others will be able to enjoy your creativity and that you'll be able to continue doing what you love and contributing to the custom scene whenever inspiration strikes.

Thanks for sharing, and take care of yourself.

I’m so incredibly happy to hear you’re recovering!!! It’s very refreshing to hear stories of triumph and healing instead of loss and despair, in this era.

I don't think I ever fully wrapped my head around it. Never really felt like I was dying, just some pain in the right side of my chest that I'd had for months. Every once in a while when I was in bed awake with my wife asleep next to me late at night, the full impact of the impending horrible death I was told I had ahead of me would start to creep into my head for real and I'd have a huge panic attack. Tears streaming and gasping for breath as my heart beat like crazy, then my wife would wake up and hold onto me tight, telling me she knows, and it's okay. My other family and friends that never saw those moments told me I was handling it all so well, and I was so brave, but I really just don't think I ever fully let the idea of "going to die of aggressive cancer" in. There was definitely nothing brave about it. I just wasn't able to accept it.
