    Yamato 1/48 VF-1S is the base for this... great custom... you can get one for about $120 new or even $100 loose from places... It's the most common reissued valk in the Yamato 1/48 series...

    The fastpacks themselves though run about $60-$70 so if you got your valk with the fastpacks for $150.... great deal!!!

    i've been hoping to work on my painting skills and one day turn one of my 1/48's into a Jetfire...

    Wow dude. Beautiful. I've got the Hikaru version with Fast Packs coming for me for X-mas for that exact custom! Yours turned out wonderfully. Looks like I'll be using yours for inspiration now as well!
