I've noticed a less than enthusiastic reaction to the Titanium assortment, except Optimus Prime. I'd like to lay out the reasons why I will be buying them.

    - Oddly enough, when Titanium was first released, I wondered what would happen if they mixed it with Transformers. I shrugged it off as a generally impossible idea, but Hasbro seems to think there's something to it.

    - Since I don't buy many toys anymore, and Hasbro explicitly stated this is a line of collectibles, it's a good way to keep in touch with a brand I love while not going overboard on buying toys.

    - This is a wonderful chance to buy what are essentially highly detailed statues at a very low price. Even with Star Wars, I've always been very reluctant to buy awesome statues just because of the price. The 6" line is even better, since they are still changeable(their wording).

    - If you love that Optimus Prime as much as I do, you should buy the smaller ones as well if for no other reason than to invest to insure the line stays alive so we may see more obscure characters and designs.

I started collecting the Star Wars ones a couple months ago, and they are extremely hard to find in stores. All I have right now are the ARC-170 and Juggernaut. I regret not buying others when I had the chance. If you do decide to collect Transformers ones like I have, do not pass them up when you see them in stores.

Like with the HOC PVCs before them, I'll probably buy all of them.

I'll be buying them. Period! I may try to make a chess set if there are enough of them.

I will probably buy most of them, even that f*&$cked up looking 6" megatron (I hope the reason why it looks weird is because it is a prototype)

I'm picking up the transforming ones. The other ones are just metal PVCs and I still regret getting the ACT PVCs from the last go around.

I'll more then likely pick up WWI Prime, but the small ones don't appeal to me in the least.

I love Titaniums. Have em all so far and many SW Micro Machines so seeing the TF versions about gave me a joygasm.
Waiting for them to do a few more larger ones besides the 4 that's out.

I recommend getting them all but if you listened to me you'd go broke. Atleast get the white TIEs. Supposedly there's only 1 per case.
    The Starfighters are my favs.

    My old Titanium display.

Have twice as many now but no room yet to put em out.

These are some that's on the store shelves now

I Since you're an Arc fan, the larger Titanium Arc is too sweet.
Probably my fav SW mini of them all.
Here's a pic of it just in case

Am I the only one who thinks that based off the pics, the 3" figures look completely out of proportion? Some of them seem almost super-deformed. Maybe it's just me.

I know I'll be getting all the TF-ing ones. WW Prime and that weird ass Megatron. Just can't seem to put my finger on where I've seen that design before... it looks familiar... yet not. But I guess any tank would look familiar but not huh?

Still, digging that WW Prime and it's a much better deal than that $200 + thing that Rabid Squirell was doing.

    The titanium figures look awesome.
I think each toy should come with a small shovel for burrying your wallet.

I'll get the WW Prime for sure, no doubt about it. That Megatron looks a bit mistransformed but if it actually turns out that it ends up looking like that then pass... Sure I'll support the line, the transforming part of it anyways.

The little ones I don't think I'll be getting because I have the larger versions and some of the poses look rather funky (e.g. squatting ones). Though, I'll certainly pick up unique ones such as Unicron and the autobot shuttle.

The 6 inch ones seem to be a given for me, especially the long awaited WW Prime.:)

Yep that's the one I have, and I love it to death :D  Actually that was my only one until today when I went all over the county looking for Titaniums. The problem is, all I found was a couple tri-fighters(which I don't care to spend that much money for) and a couple turbo tanks(which I bought). I hate having to go to ebay for items that are supposed to be very low price, but I really really want a Venator :banghead:

I am not making the mistake of passing them up again.

Some of the squats seem unnecessary, but overall it looks like a great line. Starscream looks great in particular. And the larger ones are transformable even. Finally, TFs are diecast again!

    Besides Binaltech, that is.

I wonder if they'll release the THS-02 Convoy in this Titanium line. That'd be kinda neat.

...and yeah, any of the TF'ing Titanium toys - I'm all fo' 'em. I will be buying at least 2 War Within Optimus Primes, probably a first for me since I usually only buy 1 of anything.
