I had no idea they were doing this. Read 1 review that sounds like it was decent conversion. I just might lay down $30 for this.
Definitely a movie that could be super sweet with 3D, but I'm not sure I'd spend my money on it though.
Didn't know they converted this movie. It's the kind of movie that 3D might look good for, though I'm perfectly content with my plain 2D version.
Wait - I thought everyone spat on conversions like this? When the news of a conversion of the old Superman movie to 3D was posted about recently just about everyone in the thread pitched a fit at the idea and claimed it would be shit.
For some reason I can't find the thread now. I just remember it was mostly people going 'Superman converted to 3D? Urgh! Terrible idea!'. Personally I'd have liked to have seen it considering so many of the settings such as the destruction of Krypton and the scene with Lois and Superman flying above Metropolis would lend themselves brilliantly to 3D. On topic, I'd not be against I,Robot in 3D. I mean I'm not a huge 3D fan but I'd give it a look-over for curiosity's sake. That final battle with all the robots on the walkways and the camera wheeling around and upside-down would be awesome to see in 3D.
