I forgot how much Optimus got his but kicked. I also have a greater appreciation of the film and how it built up to the climatic confrontation between the Autobots and Deceptions so typical in the G1 cartoon.

 

It's a shame that with each successive film, instead of trying to develop that more personal 5 on 5 corridor battle type finale, they felt they needed to go bigger and better with more and more nameless cons for the bots to mow down with minimal effort and even less emotional payout. At least the final boss battle in 3 and 4 were fairly fun, i guess.

 

The battle between Optimus and Lockdown was satisfying because Lockdown was a threat throughout the film it was a shame that it ended so abruptly.
