as the title says, I just noticed something from the season 3 clip. upon seeing it previously, i thought the scene took place on cybertron for some reason. after seeing an HD version, i realized they are actually on top of the new kaon fortress megatron created. just thought i'd mention it, so whatever.

the new Kaon fortress? Isn't Kaon on Cybertron?

 

Correct, MTME. Kaon is on Cybertron.

But Megatron's fortress on Earth is named New Kaon. Basically, he's starting his empire anew on Earth  

 

Indeed that does seem to be the case.

 

I thought every1 noticed that :O lol. New Kaon is the name of the fortress on earth. After the omega lock blew up and I saw new kaon on earth I put 2 and 2 together and I got it.

 

Which is probably why it was allowed to be shown weeks/months before Darkest Hour aired.  

My question is where are they gonna send Predaking to first? Close to where the Autobot's old base was perhaps?

you didn't see the whole fortress thing in jasper, nevada? cause it was a really big poiny in the episode.

 

I actually thought it was on Cybertron originally. My backing reasons were that season three was getting a new setting and that things don't turn out well for the Autobots. After watching the season finale back in November, I kinda figured that the season three promo was in the Fortress of New Kaon.

Hot diggity, man! The Fortress of New Kaon was in most of the second half of the episode. How could you miss it?

 

honestly? because I probably did fall asleep the last half of the episoe I'm on a lot of meds because I'm recovering from cancer and I know it sounds weird but my mind and memory is not what it was my husband teases me that I have allzheimers but my doctors say its called a "cancer fog" and that the meds cause it so I'm sorry if I'm stupid or missed it or don't remember it.

and I'm sorry if that sounded harsh but that's my life now adays

That's my guess. Sort of like releasing the hounds and sending them to the last place where the target was seen.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if that's the first time we see Optimus for the season. Predaking is sent to the destroyed Autobot base to "get the scent", and Optimus

and fights Predaking. Possibly even ending the episode with the dramatic reveal of Optimus

Which would quickly end the suspense of where we left off at the end of season 2, making the cliffhanger pointless. A better thought would be that
