    Why? I'll tell you why!

"Next on 'Storm Stories', a family of six is killed in their bathroom during a powerful F4 tornado in the middle of Tornado Alley. But first, your local forecast."

Just then: BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Tornado Warning! You're all gonna die!

    Fun! :thumbs2:

Take a pill. it will be okay. really.

Do you expect E! to tell you that there is a storm coming and you need to take action?
Or 90 percent of the other channels on tv for that matter?

Storm Stories is filler and attempts by the network to keep ratings up to generate advertising income.
people only watch so much of forecasts and radar shots.

I used to hate The Weather Channel because of my Dad waking up at 3 a.m. and watching it for 5 hours straight, or watching it and bitching about them never showing a radar of our area when all he had to do is look outside to see the thunderstorms slapping us around.

btw, if ya hate it, watch GSN or something, lol.

Turn on channel 12 for more localized weather (this usually works in the surrounding states I live by- not so sure about the rest of the country).

Have you learned nothing from movies? Just strap yourself to a pipe with a leather belt. All debris will simply pass you by.

My nintendo wii has a weather channel built in., What's nice about it is that I can see weather all around the world without having to wait. It also has the weather for my area displayed at all times.

I usually use noaa.gov or watch the local news for weather and when the storm happens they all have radar to show me where the heck its coming from and where its heading. So that I'm ahead of the storm and be prepare to take action when it gets nasty.

For some reason, I could never take the forecasts given by anybody seriously. The weather's going to be whatever it feels like doing... be it raining, spitting out hail and tornadoes, snowing, etc.

I can just look outside to see what the weather is. That, and look at the thermometer to see what the temp is.
