My Dad had a mini stroke a few years back. Caused some issues with memory and vision, but for the most part he is alright.

Your health is more important. I'm glad to hear you're ok man. Rest well and here's hoping to a speedy recovery! There will be plenty of other Christmases for you to celebrate with your family!

I'm sorry this happened to you at all, but especially at Christmastime. :(

I will keep you in my prayers.

How old are you, if I may?

I guess I should do more research on strokes too. I have a ticking time bomb for one in my right forearm. The turbulence from my fistula has already crept up into my shoulder. :(

Its good you got access to the internet and can have some good times on forums and such, I hope they have an excellent rehab regiment for ya there, getting the nerve pathways retrained is highly important.

I pray you have a speedy and full recovery. My father in law had a minor stroke and my mother in law was able to get him to the hospital in good time, everything seemed okay till a few weeks later he had a massive stroke and lost his speech and the right side of his body. I hope that you get the best care and that those who care of you are vigilant, be safe and stay strong.

You're fortunate, hopefully, you'll never another, my Dad had one and was paralyzed on his dominant side. I hope you're on your way to a speedy recovery.

My mom had a stroke a while ago and now she walks with a limp and gets tired fast.

    Please take care of yourself.

Watch the sodium intake, after mom had her stroke, if she has huge amounts of sodium (could be anything) it effects her speech.
