Mystery Cube Found on The Far Side of The Moon Is Probably Not an 'Alien Hut' (msn.com)



In its exploration of the Von Kármán Crater on the far side of the Moon, China's Yutu 2 rover has spotted a peculiar object on the horizon. In a very blurry image, it appears to be a cube-shaped protrusion in an otherwise relatively featureless landscape.

 

looks like two people far off in the distance.... aliens confirmed.

 

Here's an idea... Why don't we send something or someone up there to find out exactly what it is? If we can land a rover on Mars and we've been to the Moon before, I'm pretty sure we can afford to get a different rover there and fast. I mean, FFS, are they scientists or not? Go!

Honestly? When "news" like this makes it to the "airwaves" (so to speak) all it does is reinforce the idea that we haven't actually been to the Moon before. "News" like this only fuels paranoia and gives conspiracy theorists credence to their claims that it's all a hoax when we can't even figure out what a box-like shape is on the satellite we landed on in the 60s... It's 2021, a guy from South Africa with money from investors launched his personal car into space, and we have the beginnings of commercial space travel... and we're concerned with a "box" on the Moon?

The article says it will take 2-3 months for the rover to travel 80 meters to get closer.

 

Pfft, in 2-3 months, the Decepticons will already have found it and be on their way.

 

Yeah I can see it too. You can just see the blackness of space in the middle. It could be aliens, transformers, and or minicons

Kalleums! I freakin' love that movie, it's so 80's sci-fi nonsense awesome. I neeeeed someone to reboot that sucker like before Bruce Campbell stops doing film altogether.

Also, we can see a potmark on Neptune, why not point a telescope in that direction instead.

Very underrated film. They made a somewhat sequel/reboot in 2017 made by the originals director & writer. Released direct to dvd and t's really bad . Moontrap 1989 has always been one of my favorite movies. Just wish it would get a bluray release.

 

You and me both! I heard about the soft reboot when it was in pre-production (fangoria or one of those places) but it didn't seem like the right way now I'm kinda bummed to hear it's bad, but what was I hoping for?

"Virus" with Jamie Lee Curtis was kind of a parallel story, a digital form of the Kalleums, I guess.

My headcanon is that it's a rogue faction or long-lost transformers colony that had to resort to using Spare Parts And More to augment and/or shield themselves amidst an energon-depletion crisis or cosmic rust event. Meat is just another 4-letter word to a race of mechanoids that's millions of years old.

 

It kinda looks like two figures standing uncomfortably close to each other.

Obviously it's just moon men swapping Switch friend codes so they can play Rocket League and Among Us.

 

That does make the most sense.
