In fact, I'm posting this from it. I love this thing. Anybody else have one and love it as much as I do?
I’m waiting to see what’s up with v2, but they are defiantly cool. I here v2 is going to have video chat.
I'm basically waiting for the iPhone to catch up to contemporary basic functions (better camera, video calls) before I consider it too. one thing I'm not sure I can't get over tho, is tactile buttons for texting. sometimes your driving n u have to text, its a bit hard to type on the iPod/phone with ur thumb.
Ah so yours is one of the 1.4 million missing iPhones huh? Yeah I'd think I'd consider the iPhone much more if the carrier wasn't restricted to AT&T or that I'd have to hack/crack/unlock the phone to use another carrier.
do you have sub contactors asking for last minute confirmation for site adjustments while you rush across town for a presentation? i dont think so kid. hit me back when your world view extends googling 'knowledge' from the internet.
I llike the iphone itself, but I really wish you could take the battery and sim card out instead of it being just like another ipod.
Driving and texters are the people I fear will pass through red lights and t-bone my car. If you're looking down at a screen how can you pay attention to everything in front of you?
that is why i said i need tactile buttons i.e. keypad that you can tell which key your pressing by touching em. i can text without looking at my cell. tactile! does anybody speak english around here?!!
You'd think in a situation like that Murphy's law would kick in and you'd have plenty of stopped time/traffic jams to text during.
all im saying is, from my experience with multi touch interface typing, typing if quite deliberate. i dont have big fat fingers and even i have to take care with typing using multi touch.
I know exactly what you mean. When I had my RAZR I could type with just my thumb and know exactly what I was sending. With my Q, the full keyboard makes it nearly impossible to text or send email while I drive; I only try it at a red light now because it can be very dangerous. I like the full keyboard, but in your situation, KA, I much prefer the "old style" of a regular phone as you mentioned.
Any kind of voice chat will never happen on the iPhone. AT&T doesn't want you getting around using their minutes for calls. That's why you can't get Flash player on it because people would use Skype.
I have a love/hate relationship with my iPhone. Most of the hate does come from the AT&T side of things.
