Depending on the type of paint you're using and the medium to apply it with, you can do similar with the paint itself. I've also thinned out some paint, so I could get it into hard to reach areas and spaces on heads and other areas my paint markers don't reach well.
you do have to be careful though, I've found that you CAN leave plastic in it too long and it WILL eventually start melting the plastic itself.. though it does take awhile.
Oooh, good point. I actually left a piece of SOFT plastic in paint thinner to losen some paint that got on a place where I didn't want it and couldn't get it off any other way. I ruined the part, and it was one of those translucent green "energy" blades from a 1/100 Gundam. RW, no matter what, Redline would still kick your butt. ;-)

I think he's confused at the fact that I closed his multiple threads about his battle damaged Ricochet due to the obvious reasons that we don't want multiple threads about the same topic. Which of course had nothing to do with my custom.
Just confused that a PICTURE was closed as not everyone that looks in the eBay section actually looks in the Customs section & vice versa ...... kinda sucks for those who don't check both, thought that would be obvious but I'm new here, what do I know.
pretty simple, really. you can't have multiple threads. If its for sale on Ebay, then that is where it belongs as your thread is advertising your auction. if you had simply been showing it off, then it would've gone in Customs. but you cant' have both.
Well thats what I thought......so I posted a PICTURE(not the eBay link.......NO MENTION OF EBAY WHATSOEVER.....it really was a PICTURE.....check it if you still can) and that got toasted to.......I'm still baffled.....life goes on, oh well, guess its not worth posting anymore PICTURES ? ..... too bad for the other members I guess, I'm not gonna bother anymore.
You're missing the point. You can post a gallery in the Kitbash forum. You can also post an eBay thread. Just don't do both on two separate threads. Keep it all on one thread. That's all there is to it.
