I just started reading MTMTE and RID's first tradebacks and i love them to bits.

Oh my god Swerve is easily a top 10 favourite. He's like me and if you know when we play TF2 i don't shut the hell up. I love that he's also the bartender on the ship. He's great

Honestly I like every character in this saga well except for Pharma. and yes I'm reading MTMTE and do plan on getting the 2nd tradeback next month.

My only regret is that i didn't get into it sooner. I can't believe all of you guys were right on this one.

In before "we told you so!" :lol

My advice is to read Robert's Chaos Theory as well if you haven't already as it becomes important in later issues.

How do you know about Pharma if you haven't read the second TPB yet?

I thoroughly enjoyed the series since issue 1, it's always fun to go back and re-read previous issues with knowledge of the future, there's almost always hints in there!

I'm kind of jealous you have so much to look forward to and experience for the first time, I'm sure when you get through volume 2 you will be foaming at the mouth like us (in a good way) too. mtmte has single handedly made the comic forum's here a great (in my opinion greatest) place to post on this site.

Tell me about it, everytime I get pissed off at this fandom all I need do is come to the local MTMTE thread and re-gain my faith that there still are sane fans of this frachise.

Also a honorable mention to the local troll 1984forever for making every MTMTE thread hilarious with his crazy insane illogical posts! Cheers dude!

    Transformers, Vol. 5: Chaos Theory.

It's out on Comixology if you can't find the physical copy.

Or you can get if from amazon like how I get my trades.

:lol  yeah his contributions have always brought a smile to my face, ah bless. for these reasons I have been itching to read and contribute to the mtmte #12 thread but for fear of spoilers I fear to even click on it as the comic hasn't made it to the uk yet and I have seriously considered reading online but I would be less inclined to tirelessly re-read and fully appreciate the comic compared to a physical copy and given all the subtle references these comics they need full devotion. I know this is going to make me further jealous and not really the place but Without spoiling anything can anyone give me a mark out of ten on how good it is?

One of us! One of us!

gregles, MTMTE #12 is 11 out of 10. In all honesty, I thought it was a bit less good as some of the previous issues. Which isn't saying much, because I think the run has been stellar so far.

    You won't be disappointed.

Most people prefer MTMTE to RID, but i like both equally (for different reasons) -- MTMTE is an easier sell with all its witty banter and obscure characters, Roberts is doing a great job. Barber has things layed out on the long term like no other writer IMO, things are starting to come to term now, and i think RID genuinely explores how cybertronians would have to get along (or at least try to) back on cybertron, in sort-of peace time, without Optimus and Megs around.

Bear in mind that Barber is the editor for MTMTE as well, so i personally think that both comics should be read together, i think the connections will become more apparent in the year to come.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the comics, i honestly wonder why more people arent reading them- they are incredible stories, artwork and coloring is great, and IMO both comics really make the most of their cast.

    Glad to find another one.

Haven't read #12 yet, but I'm also not adverse to being spoiled.

Plus, each one of us adds to the list of Roche/Josh/Roberts minions.

One down, like, a bunch more to go! :D

People think we're whistling dixie when we sing praise of MTMTE from rooftops, but we aren't. It's pure, unrestrained, unprocessed quality writing and characters. Nearly fawless in the grand scheme.
