I've been searching for this guy for months. Ran across him when I went on a short trip (bout 2 hrs away) with my buddies. I was so thrilled! I hadn't seen this guy at all! I get him home and start to take him out of the package... and his right arm falls off. I'm SO many layers of pissed / saddened. So I gotta drive all the way back and hope that they've still got the other one there. Or at the very least I'll be getting my money back.
This should be in the TF toy discussion section.Now,why the hell does his arm fall off? Not even Takara was guilty of that! At least from what I've heard but an arm falling off is worse than most of Takara Rodimus's QC issues.
The section where the arm rotates / connected to the shoulder was snapped off. And sorry mods! Forgot to specify the thread.
Now I'm thinking of getting the Takara Rodimus since arms breaking when taking it out of the package turns me off and it seems to happen to alot of people.
it might be the method of packaging? the takara release is in the sealed clamshell so even with the challenges of shipping everythings held in place pretty securly. The us release on the other hand just uses the ties. maybe theres to much pressure from a tie on that particular spot causing it because i hear about breakage there alot as well. sorry to hear that though hopefully youll find a replacement.
Lucky!!! I was at ToysRUs today, they had atleast 40 Rodimuses and I had a chance to buy one. But I'm strapped for cash right now so I said "I'm in no hurry to get one, maybe next shippment."
