ugh, i found out that the hayabusa armor can be only unlocked by getting all 13 skulls (i ain't worrying about that katana just yet lol) and after a buttload of hard work i so far got the chestpiece ugh.......i hated the desert misson skull....took FOREVER to get...and it gets harder after that i know it is old stuff but i wanted to type up my latest achievement (i just recently got a 60 gb xbox 360 and halo 3) reason i love the hayabusa armor:before i even owned a halo game, i knew about halo and loved red vs blue. i bought a halo figure at a gamestop on a band trip, and it was the red hayabusa figure....lets just say i love that armor, soooo wicked looking, and when i got halo three i wanted to use it....that is why i am going after skulls.... here is a video featuring the armor (using a ruined version of a good song)
Hayabusa is over-rated, and like Recon, I just don't find these uber-exclusive armours attractive. I like the Mark V helmet with EOD chest.
i respect your opinion it is just, i love the way it looks, it gives off the samurai vibe, and i love samurais, that is why i wanted this armor
Oh, I know. I thought we were just sharing. Also if you look at the EOD helmet, it sorta looks like it has moustache/muttonchops.
I have all the armor except teh recon (which is only unlockable so far if you do something bugie thinks is cool.) It was back in 2007 though so now I probably don't know how to do half the stuff haha.
ODST fan myself. And once you beat the game, it's not too hard to just reply the level for each skull. Just look at some YouTube videos for each one. I wouldn't recommend trying to get them on your first play through. Really, the only one I had trouble with was the one that disappears if you kill one of the AA Wraiths. It can be hard to find the right spot to back the Warthog up to without getting blasted so you can jump up and get the dumb thing.
You silly people and your legs that only bend once. Its cool, guard, that you genuinely like the Hayabusa armor set. But three weeks after Halo 3 came out, I could only associate that armor with white hot, animal rage. Typically because folks who rock it tend to be smoldering jerkholes that need to be shot. A lot. With some bullets.
I stick to this configuration. Bug helmet ftw! The hyabusa armor is pretty neat, though I've gotta agree with the statement about it being used by a bunch of jerks when I've played. By no means are all the people using it idiots, but I think a lot of the ones who do got it by basically getting their friends to do the work for them. Getting the armor was one of the funnest parts of halo 3 though I found. I went through on a single player game over the course of a week or two and picked up all the skulls on legendary. It was crazy sometimes, but it felt rewarding when I got the last skull.
