Have you ever owned a 3rd Party figure more than once? You bought it, then for whatever reason, decided to get rid of it; then decided to buy it again.

For me, it was FP Steelcore. I bought it at first because it was all the rage; then decided it didn't fit in my collection. Then, they had that reissue with the trailer and I got it again to put with my Wreckers...then, I decided he didn't fit again. Go figure.

    You?...

Classics Optimus Prime. Except I bought the Nemesis Prime version the second time. The black made all the difference.

Hexatron... technically. Had the MMC first release for a while then sold it and later bought the Clonedroid ko... only to sell that one too. If I get another other third party Sixshot, it will be the Iron Factory one.

Can't say that I have. I been contemplating selling Clonedroid and replacing it with hanzo but I like the detailed look of Clonedroid and Hanzo is massive, too massive. But it looks so spot on. I fee like if I sell Clonedroid I'll regret it

Fansproject Steelcore and the Causality Insecticons.

My collection is just a way for me to enjoy my money, then when I need some, I sell them. If they were good enough, I buy them back later.

Sometimes I WISH I had the gall to sell my stuff off, but there's that little part of me that knows I'll miss at least one thing about it... that and I'm kinda lazy.

Nope, once sold, stays sold. I am a pretty lazy guy, so when I decide to sell something, that means I can do without it. Doesn't mean it's a bad figure or anything like that, more like it's lost its charm or there's a better replacement.

Do repaints count? I swore I'd only buy one of each mold in Fansproject's Function-X line, and when a deal came along to get MADLAW for cheap I jumped on it. But then I wound up watching Masterforce and Knight went on sale for even less, and I found myself ordering Knight because Sixknight was actually in an animated show and Quickswitch was in maybe one panel of the UK version of Marvel's G1 comic.

On top of that, MADLAW eventually went on sale for even less, so low I haven't bothered trying to sell it even though I don't really want it anymore. For that matter, I haven't sold any of my collection off yet, even though I plan on getting Warbotron Computron to replace Quantron, I've got the first TFM Stunticon that's going to replace Intimidator, plus I've got Green Giant and Constructor sitting in my downstairs office while Gravity Builder sits in my main display.

    Scoria.

Bought it because I loved how it looked but once on the shelf next to MP-10, it felt too small (and I hated how poorly it felt in hand with limbs getting all floppy during transformation thanks to tons of useless diecast). Then I heard about GP and their Snarl. Only a few pics were available but they were pretty clear about how much bigger than FT's their Dinobots would be. I sold Scoria thinking I would buy all 5 dinos from GP. Then the more I saw about Guttur (and the rest), the less I liked it. I bought Scoria again. Later, when FT revealed the rest of their Dinobots, I was happy they fixed the size but kinda let down by Scoria still being too small and not even fitting with the rest of the FT Dibots. Do I need to say that I sold Scoria again as soon as Caesium was revealed?

    nope.

If I buy a thing I keep a thing. If I need money for other things I wait until I have it and then get it.

Closest things for me would be selling V1 KFC Transistor and re-buying the later pure red version. But that was the plan as soon as the new version was announced.
I'm also replacing Scoria with PF Caesium, so it's kind of similar, but again that's a deliberate upgrade process.

I never sell a toy unless I know I don't want it. Happily dumped the horrible Takara MP Ramjet to be replaced by ToyWorlds coneheads, Apollyon will be replaced by MP-36 (though I'll probably keep Apollyon for my Opti/Meg collection. But I can't imagine being silly enough to take a bath on selling a figure and then changing my mind later - unless I had to sell for financial reasons, which touch wood I haven't had to worry about.

I had Quakeblast but sold him because I had Quakewave and didn't need two Shockwaves at the time. Now I have another Quakeblast on the way from China. Sold Quakewave some time ago.

Quakewave. Bought Quakeblast, sold Quakewave. Didn't end up liking QB, bought the MP Shockwave. Didn't have the shelf presence I needed from the character...so back to Quakewave. This time in Toy Purple!

I've bought and sold Carnifix twice now. First time I got it, I thought it was ok, but there's something about the design aesthetics and transformation I don't like, so I sold it. Then I see pictures of it (looking at you Maz) and I bought it again. Then I had it in hand for a while and ended up selling it again. I think I just need to hold out for the Hasbro release. At least then it's not over $100 if I don't like it.

Almost, but the answer is no.

Closest is Quakewave though. Bought Quakewave, after a few years, sold it cause i was coming out of MP scale, then, got back into mp, and reconsidering Quakewave before MP came out, and then considering a day where maybe MP version is upsized with die cast and proper paint, and FT keeps pumping so many new things, that i feel the limited amount of shelf will be better served with other figure (or really, actually fitting what i have planned...).
