Hello my fellow TF comic book enthusiasts. Seeing as some of you have a great deal of analytical skills i would really apprecaite some answers to a few questions: The prophecy revealed in the RID annual about Starscream. Did it even come into play in Dark Cybertron ? I mean it makes SS fly out to the Titan but was it just coincidence that he released the death ore when SS approached him? is there any information to tie them together? Why does the death ore kill living beings and revive those who are dead? was it a combination of the ore that restored Metroplex and the death ore ? For the 100th time and sorry to annoy people about this. How on earth did Hunter come into possession of the autobot command codes during the surge? is it a bait and switch and are we still awaiting the introduction of another decepticon mole? from the panels it was implied that Bombshell had taken them from hunter's mind or something. Has this been mentioned in any of the on-goings that i might have missed where this point was resolved? Do you think that Costa's #31 will force IDW's hand to return Megatron to being the big bad evil that he is or will the likely explanation be that the issue was just a vision inside Ironhide's mind nad it has already been proven wrong due to the events of DC? And lastly with the introduction of so many powerful Decepticons (Overlord, Tarn, Sixshot), why did Megatron need so many strange schemes and not kill all of the autobots outright? Why couldn't the autobots make such similar modifcations when they have the likes of Brainstorm, Perceptor, Jetfire and Wheeljack that did not require them to be a .1% percentor (even though it is implied that even the autobots have such transformers) amongst them.
The Crystal City Metrotitan said that Starscream would "unite Cybertron's scattered warriors", and he subsequently became leader of a neutral Cybertron. Seems pretty clear that's what the prophecy referred to. The death wave didn't really revive Metalhawk, it just turned him into (essentially) a zombie. The thing with Hunter is just a case of Shane McCarthy doing a not-very-good job of integrating his story with what Furman had previously written. It's completely unexplained, but who knows, maybe John Barber will one day come up with an clever fix for it in something. That Ironhide's vision is now impossible, due to Gorlam Prime's destruction, has been brought up as a story point in the Windblade miniseries, and has led him to become kind of mopey. With regards to the Decepticon heavy-hitters, remember that Megatron was very cautious about letting them off their leashes, for fear of them getting too big for their boots and taking a pop at him. And the whole point of Prowl's scheme in MTMTE was to find out about the ununtrium coating process, because the Autobots didn't have a clue how the Decepticons were making the Phase Sixers so tough.
I still surprised they haven't worked in Sixshot to the equation on this yet. If he's pondering his place in the Universe, it would make for an interesting meeting between he & Prowl. Sixshot, calmly asking questions of Prowl on why the Autobots travel the path they do ..Prowl, silently plotting how he will subdue and contain Sixshot to find the secret of Phase Sixer technology...all leading to a violent outcome.
six shot punches prowl in the face, turns into a gun and shoots off his head, turns into a tank and runs over him, turns into an armored carrier runs him over again backwards, turns into a wolf and chews his body... spits him across, turns into a jet and flies away... mmm, such deserving death for prowl
I disagree, it revived him as much as the ore-14 revived anyone else. I don't think he was really a "zombie" when he still had his mind--he was just under Shockwave's control for a while.
In AHM #10 they explain that they used Hunter as a hub to crack the Autobot network, not to get the codes from him. The headmaster human/cybertronian technology was a bit buggy.
>wanting Prowl to die. Killing Him, pretty much no more conflict for IDW. He is the series main driving force.
RID 31 has already been severely undermined. Gorlam Prime's gone and Jhiaxus' vision is hinted to be of a different future. Ironhide is currently wandering around Metroplex having a severe crisis because it looks like this was only a possible future. Most of the known Point One Percenters are Autobots. Of the 16 confirmed ones, seven are Decepticons. And they can't create their own because there's no more metal.
Minimus Ambus, Blokus, Suture, Datum, Ramp, Sixshot, Overlord, Black Shadow, Heretech, Killmaster, Megatron, 'Tarn', Megatron, Grimlock, Optimus Prime, Fort Max on a good day, Shockwave, Scorponok, probably the original Ultra Magnus
Thank you for pointing that out but damn that has to be one of the more weaker explanations given in the IDWverse. Also shoutout ot Jalagay for his answers!
