    I-Con @SUNY SB on L.I.

Anyone from NY go to I-Con that is at SUNY Stony Brook? It is a science fiction convention they always have transformers not a huge amount. One year they had a bunch of Beast Wars, I hope they will do that again for the 10th anniversary.

Well I go to school there so if anyone wants to meet up I most likely be there

It is 3/24-3/26 here is the site http://www.iconsf.org/index.php

Also for those of you in the city, From Penn Station take the Port Jeff train straight to SUNY SB the train station is on campus.

-I just wanted to add if you are going for just the transformers don't waste your money going. I just wanted to know who from the area goes yearly, or would be interested in going for other things as well as a small transformers table.

It is about a 5 hour drive from the Saratoga area (I used to have a summer house there) so I guess it would be about the same from Syracuse. Honestly it isn't worth the drive or the money if you are just going for transformers.

By train it is a 2 hour ride and about $9.50 one way ticket.

By car I say about a hour and a half, maybe less.

Sounds pretty cool, but sounds like it's a bit out of my way for not enough TF stuff. Not sure what else I'd do at a scifi con anyway, aside from starting a 'Star Destroyer vs Enterprise' argument. :D
