RESPECT THE 'STACHE An experimental police robot built using technology modeled after the city's Autobot heroes, Barricade's programming was corrupted by a shard of the Allspark, causing him to view everything as a crime. Electro-disrupter blasts fired from his headlights bring fleeing bots to a sudden halt and the stasis field generated by his badge can render a prisoner motionless indefinitely, awaiting a trial that never comes. Not the kind of reimagining you expected for Barricade, I know. I like to pull a curveball now and then.
He's real nice, but if Barricade were in Animated, I've kinda thought he'd be a pre-existing Deception that's head of the Decepticon Secret Police and be all decorated as such. It kinda fits the Movieverse's devious character better. Don't get me wrong, this guy is cool, and I could totally see it happanening as one of those just-for-fun episodes like Garbage In, Garbage Out.
The movieverse Barricade is the ultimate bad cop, but I see this one as just a corrupt cop. Just as the Constructicons aren't really evil, just a pain in the ass.
