So I was playing with Bludgeon today, then ran across the Bruticus thread below and then I looked at Bludgeon and was like, "this guys alt mode is perfect for Brawl."

Then I was thinking, if you were to make a custom oversized Bruticus using existing figures to make Bruticus, who would you use?

Here is my list, no clue for Blastoff or Blades. But here are the rest:

Brawl - Bludgeon
Swindle - Alternators Swindle
Onslaught - Ultra Class Onslaught would actually work.

Onslaught as : Onslaught
Swindle as: Captain America Crossover humvee mode (voyager)
Brawl - Bludgeon or Banzaitron
Vortex - Energon Bulkhead/Quickstrike
Blastoff - Armada jetfire? Energon overcast maybe?

 

blastoff might be universe Astrotrain

 

Too small I think... But that maybe as close as we can get.

 

combiners like this don't do anything for me...Blastoff and Blades would be massively huge compared to the others...same goes for Defensor...despite being crazy awesome in concept, i just can't get past the scale issue...

 

Yeah, this is more for fun then in actuallity. Even though, it would work in scale. These things should be HUGE! At least 2-3x the size of a deluxe.

Other possible suggestions:
Vortex: Cyb. Evac mold
Blastoff: U2 Silverbolt mold
Swindle: U2 Inferno/RTS Grapple... maybe more of a stretch in matching alt-mode, but would be in a more similar "style" to the other than the Alt. or the Crossover.

 

I thought about Evac also, but kinda went away from that thought because of where the parts end up on Vortex. I believe the cockpit ends up in the chest, right?>

Man, great suggestion on Silverbmolt though for blastoff!

 

Silverbolt was my first thought for Blastoff, but your suggestion of Energon Jetfire/Overcast I probably like better.

For the Vortex/cockpit issue, I'm unsure what you mean...

G1 Vortex: cockpit on front of shins
Energon Bulkhead/Quickstrike: cockpit on chest
Cyb. Evac: cockpit on sides of shins
ROTF Vortex: cockpit on chest
DOTM Vortex: cockpit on chest

 

The problem with overcast/jetfire is that, he is a bit wide in robot mode for blastoff, that's why when you suggested silverbolt I thought of the robot mode and was like, damn, that's much better.

 

Cyb evac as vortex sounds good, what about Stratosphere for blastoff, I know his robot mode is off but size wise he's better than silverbolt as you wont end up with an arm as big as the body.
