It was missing two members and included Deathsaurus instead, but it was still unmistakably Liokaiser and was formed out of 5 "Japan exclusive" characters regardless.

Technically NONE of those count as original molds. Actually, in ANY way other than someone trying to play up the TAKTOMY BESTESTES HASBLOW CUCKS!!!!!!!!1!!1!!! nonsense NONE of these count as original molds.

I do not see what the excitement is about. It is probably just a second set of Hasbro's Titan Masters, Arcee, Grotusque, .etc.

I would not go so far to state that TakaraTOMY would not create completely new moulds, but it is highly unlikely. Even if we take Groove, and Blast Off as precedences, they were pretty much forced to make the new moulds because Hasbro's was not Generation 1 enough.

Regardless of Legends toy line or not, they would still release some exclusives.

There's no way we're getting a full in of figures. MAYBE like 9 figures a year with retooling and what use to be standard paint apps but no way is this going to be like "Takara Legends Dinobots" and will be more like Buster and Hydra as a summer offering.

Also, shit. This pretty much means we won't see Leozak and Jaguar from Takara. Looks like I need to jump on the TFC ones for my CW figures.

    Ebay:
Btw, the sweet irony of this happening on the same exact day when I received my CW Liokaiser in the mail is not lost on me. Murphy's law and all... :D
Still, I am frankly happy with that toy. I'll give the members some Arms Micron partners (drill-bull, Breakdown's rhino-hammer, Hades for Hellbat) and that's that.
Just one example... Legends toys cost 4500 to 5500 HUF (18-22$) in Hungary in stores. I got Wheelie when he was released here (actually first in Europe) and thought it was still an OK price. Then I saw the more cartoon accurate Legends toy, and hoped I can nab one on Ebay. Well, that took me like 4 months, because he always went for ridiculous 40-60$, it wasn't until last March that I grabbed one for 27$+shipping from China.
But check now, and see how much that toy goes for: Transformers LG29 Wheelie | eBay

Now, this is for a toy sought after by fans that is mainline, in-store released in Japan. The same thing with a store exclusive? It'll be bloody Henkei/Gentei Seekers or Cloud Brawn all over again, where you are lucky to grab something for triple or quadruple the normal price, if you can find it at all.
So no, I am not happy with this. Not unless Takara finally decides to move with the times and establish a WEBSHOP. Why is that so hard? Even if they would only ship within Japan, it would leave me with an opportunity to use Celga or J-Subculture to get the toy.

(btw, why do you sign your posts? This is a forum, we can see your nick and avatar next to your post already, it's not like we don't know who is posting...)

I honestly don't see a scenario in which a proper Liokaiser, Road Caesar, and so on and so forth are not produced. If not in PotP, then in a future toyline. All that's needed is patience. If you're worried about not getting a Liokaiser, you could always grab Hasbro's version. It's pretty cheap, around $100 on Amazon, iirc.

I feel ya man. Just when I thought I was free of legends. With Hasbro releasing blue chest swoop (which woulda been the tt move), and tt releasing the same deco's, I thought maybe POTP was going to let our wallets at ease, finally.

A UW dinobots, preds, and Terrorcon set are exactly what we need.

I still haven't opened any of my dinos (got the receipt still too) yet just because a red-faced Slag hasn't popped up yet, so that's kind of fishy. They gotta milk molds too right? And the dinos are kind of a no brainer. Gold chrome versions of their accent parts is also a no brainer, just like the bayverse g1 Dino sdcc set that eventually popped up (sorry for using those things as an example).

As was pointed out, TakaraTomy Mall is a web shop. Myself and others have ordered from them and used a forwarding service to receive their product.

    Ebay:
I thought it was a Mall, given the name. Thanks!
In that case, I will check if Celga/J-Subculture can preorder things there.

Never knew, but thanks. So what forwarding service is the best/cheapest? I have not yet tried to use them, just registered on a few.

You sure you wanna waste further time & effort talking to a mule? I could certainly suggest a lot more activities that could put your time to better uses.
