I had zero interest in him anyway. Bad news for those who wanted him though.

 

Hasbro shoots it's self in the foot once again. I was looking forward to the new Bumblebee, not so much for the sub mode, but for the new, more in scale figure that we were promised. They need to get their numbers straight and ship less of the less popular characters like Ratchet and BA, and stop giving us stupid repaints like Elite Guard Bumblebee, Lugnut and the new Lockdown. Like BB would make it to the ELite Guard, but Prime wouldn't? I forgot to mention the repaints of Ultra Magnus and Leader Megs. They drive every Transformers line straight into the ground with these needless repaints and exclusives. Years ago they cancelled their Xevos line just as it got more interesting, and they eventually offered their last few figures on HTS.com. Maybe they'll feel our pain and give us a chance to pick up the last few new figures that they've shown us so far. I doubt that Electrostatic Soundwave and Arcee will be cancelled because they also make their first appearance in the new movie this summer, and their popularity as characters will be higher after the movie comes out.

Could mean two things ::
#1 The end of Animated toyline?
#2 Make more room for Season 3 character toys?

 

I doubt highly that it's number 2. They were too far along with that figure to go "oh, hey, you know what? Let's do Rodimus instead." 

 

Is it really that deep?

Well that sucks. Wasn't going to get the Grimlock...but still.

 

What was cool about this new Bumblebee? I know he was suppose to be a smaller size but I don't remember seeing pics of him.

 

One can only hope this means they are concentrating on the movie line now.

You know for as much whinging as I do about the bastards I still own a fair whack of Animated figures... I suppose that's what happens when you get the first TF line when you've got disposable income...

 

This Hopefully, wasn't there mention of Dai Atlus showing up in the show.

Goldfire grimlock, not appealing in the least, and Bumblebee was of minor interest to me. So yeah, as long as this isn't the end of the road, no huge loss.

If Arcee and Electrostatic Soundwave are dropped, then I declare war!

I'm more of a fan of Deluxes these days anyways, a Voyager has to be truly great to get me to want to buy it.

Anyway... Darnit. This sucks.   I skipped out on Bumblebee just so I could get THIS guy. I hope it's only temporary.

 

Egads! Getting something you dislike is heresy! Should've saved money to go full-blown with ROTF toys!

 

Oh jeez and crackers I was gunna pick up one of each. Grimlock was gunna be turned into Dark Retribution and that BumbleBee I was gunna use for a friends. Glyph type character I was making. Back to the drawing bored. . .

 

Dang it. I really liked that Bumblebee too.. Guess more money for the movieline then....

Looks like they are focusing on the movie lines now. Animated is getting canned, they canceled this wave of figures, canceled GI Joe and Transformers Mighty Muggs...

Fun times.

I wonder what will be getting the axe next?

 

This isn't a good sign, once again Hasboro, doesn't understand the popularity of their own series.
