Im sure people have already done this, and Im sure its probably somewhere onthis board too..but..being that I had nothing to do all day but sit through a hurricane I figured Id take a pic or two. Jet vehicon and car vehicon arm and leg switch...car vehicon with jet vehicons parts looks really sleek.

Jet vehicon with car vehicons parts have to be transformed to robot mode with wings down, unless you pop the arms off, the wheels are two wide to allow the wings to pass over, or fold up correctly in alt mode.

The new noncar vehicon looks like a submarine to me, really like it!

Those robot modes are BUSTED, but the wingless, wheel-less car is really cool.

So is it possible to change body, arms and legs of RiD Vehicon with Jet Vehicon to make Takara version in Hasbro color?

 

Nifty idea to add some variety.
I'm digging the James Bond car sub look as well as the clashing purples, but not crazy about the jet vehicon with wheels.
But you like it, so that makes it awesome.

 

They were just done for fun, to satisfy my curiosity and boredom at the time, there back with their normal limbs, was never meant to be anything permanent. Apart from the wing problem there actually seems to be a tolerance difference in the ball joints between the two..with jet vehicons ball joints being bigger than car vehicons..hence car vehicon with switched limbs is extra loose (submarine vehicon) and the jet vehicon with switch limbs is waaayyy too tight to move anything...it was a pain to transform it.

 

i might remove the wings from one of mine and add those canons from kup as a submarine version, land, sea and air vehicons then.

 

Actually, all you'd have to do is remove the back of jet vehicon (unscrew it) and replace it with car vehicons..so you'd have the full colour scheme instead of the mixed. There are one or two gaps two when you swutch bodies, so that would be the best thing to do. hmm..I think Im gonna try that now..lol...

and yeah, the kup cannons really add some bulk to the jet vehicon alt mode

 

Actually that worked out really easily...two different positions of the cannons shown..sea vehicon..lol..I feel like I need another pair now just for this.

The third pic, if it had a blue and red and yellow repaint, says, Prime Tracks to me. Well maybe a head swap too. But I'm sure somebody else sees it and has probably already done it. Good work.

 

their new color scheme reminds me of the custom colors my brother uses when he plays any game: Hot Pink and Bubble Blue.

He's easy to spot and kill.
