    ...that was it? This was the massive apocalyptic hurricane Earl? A small rainstorm that lasted ten minutes in my area?

    I am disappoint.

    All I got where I am was some rain and light winds. But it did cool things down a bit, so that's nice.

    Thank god i was not in the way, I watched the evacuation of the Outer Banks on television. There are barrier islands of the south shore of Long Island that're but a category 3 or 4 from being blown away for nothing Good.

    So now it's back to being category 1. And it should have blown over by sometime this afternoon.
