I'm curious, are there any specific shelfwarmer figs in the recent Generations releases in Hungary? Here I've seen a lot of Grapples in a row, plus a recurring stock of Sky Lynx and Starscream...
Well, Starscream and Springer shelfwarmed in Blaha Müller, but that's because last Christmas or so they ordered a gazillion of them, as a result they are still trying to sell them. Shoddy distribution because other Müller stores barely got anything. In general nothing Deluxe/Voyager shelfwarms for long, they got all sold out in most places, even Játékshop that sells them about 2-3000 HUF more expensive. The Casette 2-pack (Laserbeak and Ravage) and the Rescue Patrol shelfwarmed though - probably as Soundwave wasn't released much here (only saw maybe one ever) and kids did not know what to do with casettes. And some of the Battlemasters shelfwarmed too - Caliburst and the first wave, especially, as all stores got a ton of those. Overall it's not as bad as Titans Return. One Müller still has a Clobber, been discounted for most of 2020 and still unsold.
Poor Clobber, those titan masters were pretty fantastic. I'm using that head both for Krok and repainted as a much better noggin for KSI Boss. I would get why a weapon accessory figure like Battle Masters would shelfwarm but budget category micromasters? Hmm...
Today's status report from Müller -seems they are ordering backwards, after having Wave 2 Earthrise, now they have Wave 1 Earthrise stuff! Earthrise Voyager Grapple and Starscream, 12190 HUF (2 of each) Earthrise Deluxe Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Ironworks 8690 HUF (one of each) Earthrise Micromaster Military Patrol 5690 HUF (2 of each) We got some new Cyberverse stuff too! Energon Armor "Voyager" Skullcruncher came out, he costs 11390 HUF. There was only one left (mine is already inbound from the US thanks to Chris) so get it while it's hot! Wave 2... or 3? I really cannot keep track... of the Build-a-figure Deluxes are out too, apart from a few Bees and an Optimus, there were 1-1 of Hot Rod and Grimlock too at 10990 HUF. Lastly Cyberverse Attackers, these non-transforming simple action feature figures of Wheeljack and Shadow Striker are out at 4590 HUF. Sadly so far it seems these are the most accurate representations of these characters we will get... Lastly not TFs, but in a surprising move, Müller started importing the MOTU retro figures - they look like the old ones but with better articulation. Has been literally decades since I saw Masters of the Universe toys here! Well, he wasn't in the bargain section today, so someone must have finally taken pity on him.
Haha, good for him! I'm not really sure what parents think when picking presents. I get it, Lepin (or whatever that brick toy is called) is ever-popular, but what else is out there to compete with stuff like Transformers?
Not my photos - from the Hungary TF facebook. Galaxy in Asia Center has not just Kingdom Wave 1 (Core, Deluxe Voyager, even Leader), but Wave 2 too, as well as MP Movie Ratchet, the SS Devastator set, and SS86 Wave 1 (Deluxe and Voyager only). WebJátékbolt, an online shop, also has Kingdom and SS86 Wave1, at better prices (no Leaders though) https://webjatekbolt.hu/shop_search.php?search=transformers
