Hey everybody! This is my first custom I felt was worth sharing so here goes..He started as a Battle Force 5 Zoom Takazumi figure I got on sale at Target, I noticed the carded figs are in 1/24 scale so I scooped some up to fill out my Alt/HA toy display. Popped the head off, shaved down the joints for clearance and the BF5 insignia on the chest, sprayed on some white primer, put the head back on. Added a sword and sheath from the keychain figure, random gun, chest insignia from cobrastickers.com, and voila! I still plan to dremel the hair down and put a mask on him. For now, let me know what you think! UPDATE 8/15: Hair dremeled and mask made! I'm going to keep tweaking it, but I think this will give the general idea. Thanks for checking him out!
hmmm, looks like a younger storm shadow if you think bout it. still would be cool if you retooled the head though. still what you gotta do to the bike? I NOMINATE A HUMAN ALLIANCE RANSACK!
I agree he looks to young, when I get the hair dremeled and mask on I think it will correct the problem.
Where are the wide-set child bearing hips? It's not Human Alliance unless it has ridiculously wide hips. Like he's wearing 3 diapers under there. Do it. Nao. ... I'm kidding. Great job.
Sorry for the necromancy, but I just happened upon this. It kicks butt! I wish I could find this Battle Force Five toy and replicate the custom. As far as giving him a TF partner... I am working on a snake-eyes figure & still messing around with the ransack bike. It would be possible to add articulation, but I'm probably just going to leave it as is. Thanks for the interest, I appreciate the feedback!
Utterly fantastic job ! I purchased a BF5 bike set some time back as well for custom work . They are a nice background compliment to the TF Human Alliance sub set. That Storm Shadow looks NICE man . I look forward to your next custom in this style.
