I just got HA barricade over the weekend, it is PRETTY cool. The only thing that is a downer is how his leg joints are angled so the poses are kinda weird.

I picked HA Barricade up at Auto Assemblly on Sunday, and I've just done the leg mod (thanks guys, took under a minute with an X-Acto knife). And he is absolutely SUPERB.
Seriously; I wasn't too impressed when I first saw pics of him but now I've had a chance to fiddle about with him I have completely changed my tune. This toy is an absolute MUST-buy.

Can you guys post some pictures of him after the leg mod? I'm afraid that after the mod his legs would be too wide apart.

Oh man, thanks to the poster on that gallery link. I had this guy for awhile now, even repainted him already and I had no idea his legs swiveled at the hips! I dig the figure but he always had a dopey kind of pose to him until i learned i could move his legs at the hip.....he looks awesome in his new ready to fight pose!

Hate to necro this thread - but found these pics & thought they might help people who were still on the fence about modding the hips like I was...

    After:

Which, is actually fairly close, according to this poster:
[IMG] (anyone gotta bigger pic of this one, btw?)

I think the best solution would just be to give Barricade ball-jointed hips & leave his angled hips alone, to preserve his leaner look....

I was pleasantly surprised with this figure. It's very nice and very fun to play with.

I'm kicking myself for passing on this guy when I saw him in Walmart last year. Trying to track him down now since I've been on a bit of a Barricade binge lately; picked up DOTM Deluxe Barry, TFTM Legends Barry, and TFTM Premium Deluxe Barry just recently.

I want to add HA Barricade to my collection since my wife and I really dig the guy (he has style, as she puts it, heh). He just looks wicked awesome and a decently articulated Frenzy is a nice touch too (also been collecting a lot of the EZ/Legends movie minicons too like Hatchet, Ravage, and Scorponok.... HA Barricade's Frenzy and the mini Laserbeak that HA Soundwave comes with are must-haves).

Might just grab him and HA Jazz together online somewhere.

Damn why o why did I not get this figure when I had the chance?!?! I will get one on ebay, since it's impossible to find one for a decent price. I will definitely plan on doing the hip joint mod. So weird how these things can slip through the design process.

The thing that pisses me off that it must have been a limited release as it is very hard to find this figure, especially now and I never ever saw in any Australian retailers, heck I am willing to pay $60 US for it new, especially if I can get it through USPS express post.

Yeah, when I bought mine it was the only one at my local store - never saw another one there again...

Compared to HA Jazz, SS, or BB - who always have multiples...

I've never seen HA Mudflap or Jazz in any store. I've seen a MILLION BBs, repaint BBs, Skids, and repaint Sideswipes. The shitty thing is I've actually seen HA Barricade in a store before, but there was other stuff I wanted more at the time, but now with a drought of DotM stuff til Soundwave and Wheeljack come out, I really want that Barricade.

Yeah, I never saw HA Mudflap in a store, either. I got mine on eBay.
Barricade I saw several times for a while. Not nearly as much as BB or Skids, though...

I just got him and...no matter what I try, he won't roll. As a matter of fact, the front wheels won't touch the ground. I can spin them when he's stationary. This kinda blows, because I want my car-figures to roll freely...Anybody encountered this or maybe has a fix for it?

I've noticed a difference, browsing through the topic..the front bumper pieces seem to be a lot more flush on others than on mine? Am I missing something? BEcause I can't slidethem back or anything
