Since frank welker has voiced movie Megatron in the universal studio ride and aoe, and its unlikely Hugo weaving would return. if there was hypothetically a flashback in tf5 or beyond do you think they would pretend Megatron always had franks voice?

 

I seriously doubt we'll get any flashbacks to Megatron, just as I'm sure we'll never see Sideswipe, Dino, or Jolt ever again.

Yea, Megatron flashbacks probably won't happen. And even though I think Jolt and Dino won't return (Jolt was too minor of a character and Dino's voice actor died), I think Sideswipe has a shot.

 

Actually Jolt was killed by Shockwave; not just "disappeared" like Sideswipe and Dino.

 

That's comics though which Michael Bay doesn't care about.

Well yeah, but I'm saying it wouldn't stop Bay from bringing him back if he wanted to.

 

If Bay cared about tha comics, The Fallen would be trapped in a relic in the beginning of ROTF (which I prefer over him just sitting there).

 

IF Dino did come back (hopefully as a different-but-similar car this time so he could get a toy) I'd want him to be voiced by the guy who did Ezio Auditore in Assassins Creed.

I'm not entirely sure that they'd bring even the Dinobots back.

The only ones that we can bet on at this point are Bumblebee and maybe Optimus.

 

Comics don't count. They may be fun supplementary material for us fans and those few willing to explore beyond the movie, but to the vast majority if it isn't on the screen, then they don't care.

We'll, wih Optimus out in deep space, we'd probably have the next film start up with Bee and 4 new Autobots, and no one would question where the others ran off to.

Yes, he could. Jolt could just show up in TF5 randomly if Bay wanted to have him do that. Tie in stuff has no bearing on the movies. It's just bonus stuff that loosely fits in.

Frankly Hugo Weaving's voice for Megatron is rather generic. Frank Welker's Prime Megatron/AOE Galvatron voice is so much more interesting to listen to.

 

Fallen was going to be trapped in a relic, but Bay changed that at the Last minute. IDW was working from an early script where Fallen was in a relic, stuff can change during production or post-production of a film
