I just noticed that I have the Hub and as far as I know I shouldn't be getting it. Is Dish doing a free service again like they did when Prime first premiered?
I remember something like that happening for like 1 day at random times during the year when I had DirecTV although with much more than The Hub or what it was called, Discovery Kids. Don't expect it to be there tomorrow.
SWEET MOTHER. Not only am I getting the Hub, Prime comes on in six minutes!!! SaberPrime, you win the internet. EDIT: After the episode was over, I switched to the Dish Preview channel. Looks like we cheap-ass basic subscribers will be getting the Hub from October 4 (weird, it's only the 3rd today) until December 1. Yee-haw!
I did a dance of joy when I found that Hub HD was available. Too bad it probably isn't permanent, but hey, long as I get my Transformers without having to go to the internet! Even if for a little while.
Really? That's cool. I don't know which is better Dish or DirecTV. On one hand, I get the Hub on DirectTV and I enjoy most of the cartoons on that (I watch it a lot more than Nickelodeon or Disney now). However, I miss having G4 with X-Play and AOTS(one of the least watched channels my a** DirecTV). If anything I'd like to get rid of the freaking PBS station for one of these. Who even watches the crap PBS puts on?
I liked it. It's the first episode of Prime I've ever seen. ("Out of His Head" was the title.) Now I'm off to find the review thread for it, but before I go... Why are people here saying the channel will be gone tomorrow? The Dish Preview channel says we'll be getting it until December 1. Don't toy with my emotions, here, I'm getting all excited to see as many episodes as I can!
I lost the normal Hub at 9:00 last night, but I still get Hub HD. Too bad it's not going to stay though. Oh well, it'll be worthwhile. Hopefully I can get the episodes I've missed on the DVR.
I have the Hub on my package, but not in HD. I highly enjoy being able to watch the season finale in crisp HD, for no extra charge nonetheless!
